The Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Management Studies, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, proudly celebrates the successful completion of BITCODE V6.0, the inter-university coding competition organized by the Business Information Technology Studentsโ€™ Association (BITSA), held on 16th May 2026.

The journey began with an online preselection round conducted via Zoom on 26th March 2026. Teams representing state universities across Sri Lanka competed with passion and determination. From an outstanding pool of participants, the top 10 teams were selected for the grand final round.

In a display of remarkable problem-solving excellence and technical mastery, the following teams secured their positions as the champions of BITCODE V6.0.

We are honored to officially welcome our new Head of the Department of Information Systems at the Faculty of Management Studies, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.

An alumnus of the University of Peradeniya, Mr. Rathnayake holds a B.Sc. Eng. in Computer Engineering, an M.Sc. Eng. in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA.
