To memorize facts and get good grades, try using a mnemonic method. This is a technique that helps you associate information with something else that is easier to remember.
For example, if you need to remember the order of the planets in our solar system, you could use the mnemonic method "My Very Efficient Mother Just Served Us Nine Pies." This sentence links each planet with a word that starts with the same letter.
Another tip is to create associations between the information you need to remember and things that are already stored in your memory. So if you're trying to memorize the capital of Uganda, think about a time when you were in Uganda and what its capital city looks like. By making these connections, you'll be more likely to recall the information when you need it.
