Reppin' Monash since 2009. One of only five clubs in Monash to be part of 'Team Monash' in 2017!

Formed in 2009 and based in Monash University Sunway, this club has been growing in popularity among the students of Monash. The club started off by hosting intra-campus tournaments on a small scale to build a name within the campus community. Eventually, in semester 1, 2010, the club hosted the inaugural Futsal League that attracted Monash students from all walks. The league had such an overwhelm

ing response that it needed qualifying stages to determine the best teams that would participate in this competition. The league had uncovered many good, if not great, players; gems and hot prospects within the Monash ranks. A team had been formed to participate in the inter-varsity MAPCU Football Tournament, but did not fare so well in that one due to lack of preparation. However, we did not dwell in the past, and started having training sessions to prepare ourselves for the upcoming MAPCU Futsal Tournament in July 2010. The hard work paid off, and we were crowned CHAMPIONS in that tournament. From underdog status, we have grown from strength to strength, and we will build on our current success to further improve. This semester's league seems to be more challenging than the past, with strong teams more than capable of putting up a challenge to anyone that stand in their way. I am expecting more exciting prospects to emerge from this league. Looking forward to a bright future of Monash Futsal, and of course Football.
