History was made in Abia State, and Clifford University was part of it.
From the 25th to the 29th of November, we joined other institutions across the state to participate in the 1st ever Abia State Tertiary Education Sports Fiesta, an event proudly hosted under the Ministry of Tertiary Education and supported by the Abia State Government.

From the moment the torch arrived at our school, the excitement began.
The journey to the stadium, the energy, the chants, the nerves, the determination, everything felt bigger than us. We weren’t just representing our school; we were representing our strength, our unity, and our passion.

We played our hearts out in football, basketball, volleyball, handball, indoor games and more.
We cheered until our voices cracked, supported each other like family, learned from our coaches, and gave everything we had to every moment.

And when the medals came, they were more than just awards they were symbols of hard work, memories, teamwork, sacrifices, and unforgettable experiences.

Being part of the first-ever sports fiesta in the history of Abia State is something we’ll forever be proud of.
This is a legacy.
This is a beginning.
This is our story written in sweat, passion, and victory. 🏆🔥✨

19th October 2025 will remain a remarkable day in the history of Clifford University!

We celebrated a successful Convocation Ceremony and the commissioning of a newly completed female hostel. The Veronica Imade Adeleke Hostel, unveiled by our Commencement Speaker David Adeleke (Davido), in the company of Mrs. Sophia Adeleke, Mr. Latti, Mr. Pascal Okechukwu (Cubana Chief Priest), his cousin and other distinguished guests, alongside the University’s principal officers.

Adding to the excitement of the day, Cubana Chief Priest graciously announced his intention to support 50 students of Clifford University across different faculties.
