DELSU 15TH CONVOCATION LECTURE
As part of activities lined up for the 15th Convocation Ceremony of the University, an Eminent Professor of Public Health, Parasitology and Entomology, Imo State University, Professor B.E.B Nwoke, delivered DELSU 15th Convocation Lecture, today. The Lecture was well attended by guests from both within and outside the University community. Notable amongst them are the former Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, Commissioners, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, Professor Sam Oyovbaire and his Wife, traditional rulers, members of the University Senate, staff and students.

Earlier today, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Andy O. Egwunyenga, inaugurated the newly elected officials of the 2022/2023 Student's Union Executives led by Comr. Okupa Caleb Ogagaoghene. He charged them to be of good conduct even as they represent the students in their various capacity.
The Vice-Chancellor, was represented at the ceremony by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Mrs R.N Okoh. The Registrar, Mrs Rufina Ufiofio, administered the Oath of Office on the newly elected officials.

The Faculty of Law, Oleh Campus, earlier today had the first Environmental Law summit with the Theme:
ONLY ONE EARTH: The role of Law in Living Sustainably with Nature in the Niger Delta.
A renowned Academic and Keynote Address Speaker, Professor Ambrose Ekpu x-rayed the position of the Law in Living Sustainably with Nature.
Other scholars from various perspective and field made meaningful contributions, ranging from Arts, Engineering, Sciences and Religion which added great value to the Lecture.
