If your Child/Student doesn't look forward to Learning go back and work again.
Yes! You see how you when you need to gift someone something you ensure you pick his/her brain to know what would fit most? Do same for your students/children when it comes to educating them.
The natural man does not desire God or want to learn about Him but He takes His time to guide Him gradually with the help of His Spirit till He learns. God has never forced anyone to learn about Him.
If you look Him in the face and say Lord I don't desire to study your word right now He won't slap/scold you and say get to work studying so why do we do that to our students/Children?
God despite been so good and attractive still goes as far as using situations, people, inanimate things etc to help us get interested in learning yet we shy away from coming down to study our students/children to know how to present learning to them in the way that suits them.
Every child deserves to be presented with the kind of education that makes them look forward to receiving it.
Dear Reformed educators, get to work!
Next time that child says I don't look forward to going to school/study resist the temptation to scold
The first step to teaching a child to learn is studying the child
When you understand his learning needs, learning would becomes a walk in the park
Sonya Carson is an exemplary educator, we would be studying talking about her pattern in the coming days.
Stay tuned!
