*NOTICE TO ALL PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS*

Following the decision reached at the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Policy Meeting with Rectors, Vice chancellors, Admission Officers, and other stakeholders on the national admissions calendar.

Candidates who fail to accept their admission before the 31st December 2025, risk forfeiting the offer.

The management of the Global Polytechnic, Akure, Ondo State (Benin Campus) looks forward to welcoming the newly admitted students from Monday, 12th January, 2026, when the new academic year shall begin.

All admitted candidates are advised to promptly log into the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to accept their offers of admission and complete all necessary registration process ahead of resumption.

*How to Check Global Polytechnic JAMB Admission Status*

Applicants can check their admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal by following these steps:

Visit the *JAMB E-Facility Portal*.
Log in with your JAMB username and password.
Scroll down to find and click on “Check Admission Status.”

Select “Access my CAPS.”
Choose “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission into Global Polytechnic, Akure, Ondo State.

*Understanding Your JAMB CAPS Response*

Meaning of each admission status:

*1). Admission Offered:*
Congratulations! You have been officially admitted to Global Polytechnic, Akure, Ondo. You can now accept or reject your offer on the CAPS portal.

*2). Admission in Progress (AIP):*
Your application has been reviewed and is awaiting approval from the Polytechnic and JAMB.

*3). Recommended:*
Your name has been sent to JAMB for final review before confirmation.

*4). Not Admitted:*
You haven’t been selected yet. Your application might still be under consideration, or more lists may be released later.

*5). Pending:*
Your application is still being reviewed, and no decision has been made.

*What Next After Admission Offer by Global Polytechnic*

Once your admission is confirmed, you must either accept or reject the offer. This can be done through:

Any approved JAMB CBT Centre or Jamb State Office near you.

After accepting the offer, proceed to print your JAMB Admission Letter and Jamb Result Slip for documentation.
