SA’ADU ZUNGUR UNIVERSITY RELEASES THIRD BATCH ADMISSION LIST FOR 2026/2027 SESSION

Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi State, has announced the release of the Third Batch Admission List for candidates provisionally admitted into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Shortlisted candidates are invited for physical screening, commencing:

📅 Monday, 28th September 2026
📅 Closing Date: Friday, 9th October 2026
📍 Venue: Respective campuses where the candidates’ programmes are domiciled.

📋 REQUIREMENTS FOR PHYSICAL SCREENING

Candidates are required to come along with the originals and photocopies of the following:

Computer printout of SSCE Result

JAMB Result

Online Screening Form

Recent Passport Photograph

Scratch Card for verification of O’Level

Important: Candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB Portal at any JAMB-accredited centre before coming for the physical screening.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

Two (2) to three (3) days after a successful physical screening, candidates should check the JAMB Portal to accept their admission and print their JAMB Admission Letter.

Only candidates who have accepted their admission on the JAMB Portal will be able to access their Sa’adu Zungur University admission on the University portal.

1,000 SAZU STUDENTS, ONE GOAL: FROM CAMPUS TO CAREER!

Sa’adu Zungur University has successfully trained 1,000 students across its Gadau and Yuli Campuses through the “From Campus to Career: Employability Skills Training Programme.”

The programme focused on equipping students with essential career readiness, CV writing, interview and employability skills.

Special appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fatimah Tahir, for her continuous support, and to the Director, Human Resource and Career Development, Dr. Wasilu Suleiman, for initiating this impactful programme.

SAZU is preparing students not just for graduation, but for the world of work.

SAZU POLITICAL Science5 STUDENTS UNDERTAKE EDUCATIONAL VISITS TO DEFENCE MINISTRY, NILDS IN ABUJA

Students of the Department of Political Science, Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), have embarked on educational visits to the Federal Ministry of Defence and the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) in Abuja as part of efforts to expose them to practical aspects of governance, national security and democratic institutions.

The delegation, comprising students and staff of the Department, was led by the Director, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Centre for Peace and Security Studies, Dr Yusuf Musa Yahaya.

At the Federal Ministry of Defence, the delegation was received by the Permanent Secretary, who welcomed the students and provided insights into the Ministry’s responsibilities and Nigeria’s defence and security architecture. The visit featured a presentation by officials of the Ministry, followed by an interactive session during which the students asked questions and received responses from the Permanent Secretary.

The delegation also visited the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), where they held a fruitful engagement with the Director of Research, Dr Christopher O. Ngara.

The interaction focused on Nigeria’s legislative and democratic processes, research and the role of young people in strengthening democratic governance. Dr Ngara responded to questions from the students and encouraged them to take their academic pursuits seriously, stressing the importance of knowledge, discipline and active engagement in understanding the affairs of the nation.

The educational visits provided the students with valuable opportunities to connect classroom knowledge with real-world institutions and practices, further enriching their understanding of political science, public administration, national security and democratic governance.

The initiative reflects Sa’adu Zungur University’s commitment to providing students with practical learning experiences that complement classroom instruction and prepare them for meaningful contributions to national development.
