Yesterday, 22nd March 2026, the Adamawa State Students’ Union recorded yet another milestone with the successful hosting of the Freshers’ Welcoming/ Adamawa Day Ceremony.

The event brought together members from various faculties and campuses, showcasing the strength of our unity and proudly celebrating the rich heritage of our dear state. It was indeed a moment of bonding, connection, and shared identity.

As part of the activities, the CTC Chairman emphasized the importance of unity among members and encouraged everyone to actively reach out to others, fostering inclusiveness and strengthening the spirit of togetherness that defines our Union.

Furthermore, yesterday’s gathering officially marked the final meeting of the Adamawa State Students’ Union for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The leadership sincerely appreciate every member of the Adamawa State Students’ Union for your presence, commitment, and active contributions towards the success of the Freshers’ Welcoming/ Adamawa Day Ceremony. We do not take this for granted, and we encourage us all to continue building on this spirit of togetherness as we move forward.

📢 *NOTICE TO ALL ATBU STUDENTS (ADAMAWA STATE INDIGENES)*

The Union has been mandated to submit a comprehensive list of ATBU students, *especially those in 100–300 Level.* This list will contain students’ bio-data and bank details for the purpose of scholarship disbursement.
Submission Period:

🗓 *7th March – 10th March 2026*
Students are required to submit the following documents:
Admission Letter
School Fees Payment Receipt
Name & Registration Number
NIN
Indigene Letter
Bank Details (Account Name, Account Number & BVN)

*Important Notice:*
Students in 400 and 500 Level who had issues and did not benefit from the previous scholarship are also encouraged to submit their details for screening.
Please note that some previous submissions were affected due to mistyped information and the use of online banks such as Moniepoint, OPay, Kuda, etc.
Students are strongly advised to provide details of a Commercial Bank Account only.

Yet again today, we have recorded another remarkable step forward in the progress of our dear union with the successful hosting of our *second congress meeting*. The meeting witnessed an increased turnout of members and highly engaging, productive discussions, reflecting our collective commitment to the growth and development of the union.

This achievement clearly demonstrates the dedication of the leadership and the willingness of members to actively participate in strengthening our union.

The leadership of the *Adamawa State Students Union (ATBU Chapter)* sincerely appreciates every member who was present and contributed to the success of the congress. We also respectfully call on all members to ensure prompt payment of their *registration and dues*, as this will assist the leadership in updating our records and providing the necessary financial support for our collective activities and programs.

As part of our commitment to inclusive engagement across all faculties and levels, the union leadership—led by the CTC Chairman, Secretary, and Faculty Representatives from Engineering and Engineering Technology—paid a courtesy visit to the NUESA CTC Chairman, *Ambassador Kabiru Abdullahi (King Jaja)*.

The visit focused on introducing our faculty reps, fostering solidarity for upcoming union activities, and reaffirming our dedication to reaching every student.

Today was more than just our first congress of the 2025–2026 session — it was a powerful reminder that though we come from different faculties, departments, backgrounds, and perspectives, we stand together as *one union, one voice, one family*. 🌍🤝

Your presence and participation made this meeting a success. It showed that our strength lies in our unity and our diversity — different ideas, shared vision; different paths, common purpose.

The CTC Executives remain fully committed to progressive growth, but true progress happens when we move together. And today, we did just that. 💙
