THE EFFECT OF THE QUR'AN IN YOUR LIFE....(continuation)
2- The second tool is "inviting you to reflect"
الدعوة إلى التدبر
Iro arojinle.
A normal human being shouldn't sell off his brain to someone else, he should also try reflecting independently because we all possess this property i.e the brain, the way you see things is different from the way I see, hence, you are encouraged and advised to use your ability to reflect first then you seek more advice afterward.
Allah says about this in Suratul Muhammad 24
'أ فلا يتدبرون القرآن أم على قلوب أقفالها'
"Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there lock upon their hearts".
This shows that if you can't or don't make use of your brain, with time you will develop retardation in memory.
3- The third tool is " inviting you to present your thoughts"
الدعوة إلى التفكر
Aro tun ro.
However, Allah uses this, mostly in expressions like parables, proverbs, riddles, puzzles, and the like, which will be given to us like a task to complete i.e it seems as if Allah seeks our ideas, anyway, the fact is our ideas or opinions really don't matter in this case, but as a good teacher, you don't just teach students, provide examples and it's over, it's also necessary you give classwork or assignment just to check the abilities.
However, Allah talks about this in Suratul hashr21
' لو أنزلنا هذا القرآن على جبل لرأيته خاشعا متصدعا من خشية الله و تلك الأمثال نضربها للناس لعلهم يتفكرون'
" If we had sent down the Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart out of fear of Allah. And these examples are present to people perhaps they will give thought".
NB: I believe if you constantly stay trying to fix a certain puzzle sooner or later you will be having it right.
