The national benchmark has been set, and Peaceland University is fully prepared to lead the 2026 admissions cycle with excellence and distinction.

At the 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions held in Abuja, a minimum cut-off mark of 150 was approved for Nigerian universities. Representing the University at this important national gathering was the Admission Officer, Mr. Charles Igwe, whose participation reaffirmed our commitment to maintaining admission standards that align with national educational policies and global best practices.

Held at the prestigious Body of Benchers Headquarters, the meeting provided strategic direction for the new academic session and further strengthened collaboration among tertiary institutions and regulatory bodies across the country.

Homily by Rev. Fr. Titus

Fr. Titus preached on two connected truths from today's readings that suffering is part of the Christian journey, and that Christ's peace is available right in the middle of that suffering.

Using Paul's stoning in Acts 14 as his anchor, he pointed out that doing God's work does not guarantee a smooth road. Paul was beaten and left for dead, yet he rose and continued without bitterness or retreat. Fr. Titus used this to challenge the common belief that a good life should be a trouble-free life.

He then brought in the Gospel where Jesus promises His disciples a peace that is completely different from anything the world offers. The world's peace depends on good conditions money, comfort, success. But Christ's peace holds steady even when everything is falling apart. Paul, Fr. Titus said, was living proof of that promise.

He then made it personal, acknowledging that many people in the congregation are going through their own version of being stoned through disappointment, betrayal, financial pressure, broken relationships, and silent personal battles.

His message was clear and direct: don't stay down, rise again. And more than that, guard your heart. Peace is not just something that happens to you it is something you choose by deciding to trust God even when fear is loudly knocking at your door.

He closed by reminding everyone that God is not finished with any of us.

Whatever we are going through is building something faith, strength, and eventually a testimony that will help others rise too.
