Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts must follow strict formatting: maximum 15 pages including references and appendices, typed in Microsoft Word with 1.5-line spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and English language only. Abstracts require at least 250 words with up to five keywords; cover pages must list title, authors’ names, institutional affiliations, phone numbers, and emails.

Tables appear as editable text (not images), properly captioned and numbered.
Referencing uses APA 7th, MLA 9th, or Chicago 17th editions.
Submissions undergo plagiarism checks and must be original, unpublished works.

This is to inform prospective candidates and the general public that the Federal Polytechnic N’yak, Shendam, through its Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), has commenced the sale of admission forms for the 2025/2026 Academic Session into the following Ordinary Diploma (OD) and Certificate programmes:

These programmes are available at both N’yak and Shendam campuses of the Polytechnic.

Entry Requirements:

Prospective candidates who possess a minimum of three (3) credits and two (2) passes in their O’Level examinations (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) are eligible to apply for admission into the Ordinary Diploma (OD) and Certificate programmes of their choice.

Candidates who have fewer credits but at least four (4) passes may also be considered for admission into the Certificate programmes.

Application forms can be obtained at the Institution’s Administrative Office, N’yak Campus, Shendam, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ₦5,000 (Five Thousand Naira only).

Completed forms must be duly filled and submitted on or before 25th November, 2025.

His Excellency The Distinguish Senator Simon Bako Lalong CON (Representing Plateau South senatorial district) visited the institution on Tuesday 8th October, 2024 in which he took a tour of the school with the guidance of the school management team to acknowledge the existence and wellbeing of the school in his senatorial district.

Then he offered a chance to hear what is needed and bothering the Staffs and Students of the school.

On that regard he then offered ₦5,000,000 fully funded scholarship to the existing students of the school, he also promised to provide steady Water Supply, bring 24/7 Electricity, Students and Staff Hostels with good and quality Access Roads.
