Third term always comes with tension for many schools… but honestly, it doesn’t have to.
This period simply reveals everything. Results are close, parents become more observant, and anything not properly handled since first term starts to show clearly.
Instead of panicking, stay grounded and focus on doing the right things:
Close learning gaps early—don’t wait until revision to discover challenges.
Review records, identify weak areas, and support students immediately through small groups, extra practice, and proper tracking.
Communicate clearly with parents. When they’re not informed, they assume the worst. Keep them updated and carry them along.
Support your teachers too. The pressure is real, and it reflects in their work. Provide clear direction, simple plans, and regular check-ins.
Be intentional with supervision—not just moving around, but actually checking lesson flow, student engagement, and understanding.
Prepare students for exams beyond just reading—use timed practice, build routines, and help them get familiar with exam conditions.
And please, avoid last-minute panic changes. Too many sudden adjustments can do more harm than good.
Stay consistent. Adjust only where necessary.
Third term is not the problem—it simply reveals what has been happening all along.
Stay steady. Be intentional. Finish strong. ✅
