STOP asking people: “How was your night?” ❌
While it’s common in some places, it can sound awkward in standard English.
More natural expressions are:
✅ “Did you sleep well?”
✅ “How was your night’s rest?”
✅ “How did you sleep?”
“How was your night?” is better used when asking about someone’s evening activities, work shift, party, or event — not usually as a morning greeting.
