Our students recently stepped inside the heart of Africa’s largest refinery, witnessing scale, leadership, and innovation in action.

At NUTM, we believe in immersing our students in real industry experience while they learn from world-class faculty. This visit took learning beyond the classroom and into the control rooms of the Dangote Refinery, offering a powerful glimpse of what is possible when vision meets ex*****on.

We extend our sincere thanks to the CEO of Dangote Refinery, David Bird, and the entire team for hosting us with such openness and generosity.

Nigeria being Africa’s biggest economy has the potential to become a global superpower. However, the country also faces one of the biggest human capital challenges. High youth unemployment and decreasing university admissions are initial indicators of the issue.
