🎓 PRE-ADMISSION ENLIGHTENMENT FOR PROSPECTIVE ND CANDIDATES (2026/2027)

Dear Prospective Students,
As you prepare for admission into Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, it is very important to understand the correct admission process to avoid future complications.

📌 JAMB ADMISSION IS COMPULSORY

Admission into the Polytechnic is not complete without approval from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

👉 This means:
Before you proceed fully with the school portal, your admission must first be processed and on the JAMB CAPS portal.

✅ WHAT MAKES YOU A FULLY ADMITTED STUDENT?

To be properly admitted, every candidate must have:
JAMB Admission Letter (from JAMB CAPS)
School Admission Letter (from the Polytechnic portal)
📍 These two documents are compulsory.

If you do not have the JAMB admission letter, your admission is not valid.

🔄 CHANGE OF COURSE

If you are offered admission into a course different from your initial choice:
👉 You must process the change of course on JAMB CAPS
👉 Accept the new course on JAMB before proceeding
Failure to do this means your admission record will be inconsistent.

⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE
There is NO MORE JAMB REGULARIZATION for candidates from 2021 till date.
❗ This means:
If your admission is not properly processed on JAMB, it cannot be corrected later.

🚫 RISKS OF NOT HAVING JAMB ADMISSION

Without a valid JAMB admission letter, you may face:
Ineligibility for NYSC
Inability to apply for Direct Entry
Difficulty in verifying your academic records
Loss of future academicopportunities

🎯 FINAL ADVICE

Do not ignore JAMB admission.
👉 Always ensure:
You check your JAMB CAPS regularly
You accept your admission on time
You print your JAMB admission letter

📢 CONCLUSION

Your admission journey is only complete when JAMB confirms it.
No JAMB Admission Letter = No Valid Admission
For guidance and support, kindly contact the Admission Office.
