PROJECT TITLE:
Design and Fabrication of a Modern Field Mixer
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project focuses on the design and fabrication of a modern field mixer suitable for construction sites and small-scale industrial applications. The machine is intended to efficiently mix materials such as cement, sand, and water to produce uniform concrete with minimal manual effort.
The study involves material selection, design calculations, fabrication processes (cutting, welding, assembling), and performance testing of the mixer. The fabricated field mixer aims to improve productivity, reduce labor cost, and enhance mixing efficiency compared to traditional manual methods.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:
To design a durable and efficient field mixer
To select appropriate materials for fabrication
To apply welding and fabrication techniques in construction
To test and evaluate the performance of the mixer
To reduce manual labor and improve work output.

BREAKING: The Rector/Ceo Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku, Bldr. (Prof.) Emmanuel Achuenu decorated as President of Nigeria Polytechnic Games Association (NIPOGA).

By his decoration the Builder Professor will be president till 2024 after the next NIPOGA's games which is to be hosted by the Delta based Institution.

This year's contigency won a total of 10 medals from different competitions which includes; 2Gold, 4Silver, and 4Bronze medals at the just concluded games at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, (RUGIPO), Ondo State.

Congratulations to the outstanding hard working Integrity Icon of Nigeria (IION) and the entire Polytechnic on this no mean feat..

Theme: "Actualizing Effective Diversification of the Nigeria Economy through Science, Technology and Innovation".

The Science, Technology and Innovation Expo is a flagship programmer of the Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation to promote Science, Technology and Innovation in Nigeria. Achuenu Eulogies Wife; says she's a quintessential scholar, seasoned Town and Regional Planner, Home Builder and woman with the heart of Gold.

The Rector of the Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku Bldr. (Prof.) Emmanuel Achuenu has today eulogies his amiable wife on the occasion of her birthday bash.

Dr. (Mrs) Ache Stella Achuenu is a lecturer at the University of Jos and holds a doctorate degree in Town and Regional Planning with so many scholarly awards and published articles to her credit. In a statement signed by Prof. Achuenu on behalf of his family, described his beloved wife in this regards. The statement reads;

"Happy birthday to a quintessential scholar, seasoned Town and Regional Planner, Home Builder and woman with the heart of Gold. Your exemplary calmness and disposition is a quality to behold and the blessings of God will overflow in your life as you age gracefully to continue to remain a blessing to us all".

OUTING SERVICE OF LATE PA OKAFOR CHRISTOPHER OSAKWE..

Family's Thanksgiving service @ Diocese of Asaba Christ Anglican Church,Isho, ubulu uku, as Pst Mrs Nweke FN and family bid father to rest in a grand style.

The Rector,Prof Emmanuel A,the management and staff of Delta State polytechnic ogwashi uku ably led by the governing council chairman of dspg ,with the outgone rector,now VC Delta University Agbor (Unidel) Prof Mrs Stella C.C,and the hosts of others honoured the polytechnic registrar as she gave her late Pa Okafor Osakwe Christopher a befitting burial in Isho ubulu uku.

Indeed it was atmosphere of celebration of a live well spent on Earth.
