Good Day to you all,👨🏽‍💻

I believe everyone has been seeing different news concerning Jamb Regularization.

Due to this, I advise each and every one of us to check the Jamb Matriculation list to confirm their admission status. The link to check will be posted down.

Anyone who didn't find his/her name should visit the nearest Jamb CBT center for regularization because it will be closing at the Ending of this month. If you have done the Jamb Regularization before and you haven't been given admission, it's advisable to redo it/visit the Jamb CBT Centre to be on the safer side.

To those who did ND in Mapoly, when done with your Jamb Regularization, you are to submit it to the rector’s office. Below are the steps to take;

1. Do your jamb regularization
2. ⁠when done, you are to pay a sum of 5,000 at any cafe on campus (Authentication of Jamb Reg)
3. ⁠Make a photocopy of your ND result, the receipt and the Slip given to you at the CBT centre.
4. ⁠Take your all the document to the result centre at admin (where they are collecting statement of result) both photocopy and original for verification.
5. ⁠After verifying your result, take all the documents to the Rector’s office and submit to anyone you find there.

To foreign/external students who haven’t gained admission, you are to do the Jamb Regularization and submit it to the school where you did your ND Program.

Before proceeding to the Jamb office, send your NIN to 55019 to generate your Jamb Reg number.

1. To those who did Jamb in ND, you are to use the number you used to obtain Jamb Form
2. ⁠To those who didn't do Jamb most especially PT students, you can always use a new number
3. ⁠If you can't find your number, you can get to the Jamb Office and ask for further information/assistance.

Input the year you did jamb and your Jamb reg number.

Note: By implication, if your name is not on this list, your application to the NYSC scheme for the one-year National service shall be declined.

It is important that you confirm your name from the matriculation list. Only candidates whose names are on this list are recognised as bonafide students from the various accredited institutions.

Yuletide: Management Commends Staff, Congratulates Students, as New Session begins December 27.

At the successful completion of the 2nd semester examinations for the 2022/2023 academic session, the Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta has commended members of Staff for their steadfastness in spite of many obvious challenges.

The Management has also congratulated all terminal students of the Polytechnic, who participated in the just concluded Examinations and wished them tremendous feats in their future endeavors.

According to the academic calendar, Wednesday, 27th December, 2023 will mark the beginning of 2023/2024 academic session and full entry clearance and registration.

By this development, all newly admitted candidates who have accepted the provisional admission offer are to proceed to thier respective School Offices for entry clearance and registration from Wednesday, 27th December, 2023 till Wednesday, 10th January, 2024.

Other categories of students, especially those going for SIWES, are also directed to start their registrations immediately till Wednesday, 10th January, 2024.

Similarly, SIWES programme will begin from Tuesday, 2nd January to Monday, 1st April, 2024, while online lectures will be available for the benefit of SIWES students within the period.

Students are enjoined to acquaint themselves with the revised academic calendar as available on www.mapoly.edu.ng/web.

Meanwhile, Management wishes all members of staff and students a wonderful and memorable Christmas and New Year 2024 celebrations, while urging the Polytechnic community to imbibe the virtues of gratitude, tolerance and love that this Yuletide season proclaims.

KEEPING THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT CLEAN, HEALTHY AND CONDUCIVE

The Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, launches recycle bins donated by the Mandela Washington Fellowship For Young African Leaders.

The governmental organization is the flagship program of the U.S. Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). YALI was created in 2010 and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2020. Established in 2014, the Mandela Washington Fellowship has brought nearly 6,500 young leaders from every country in Sub-Saharan Africa to the United States for academic and leadership training. The Fellows, between the ages of 25 and 35, are accomplished innovators and leaders in their communities and countries.

The recycle bins are located at strategic places on campus.

Mapites are therefore urged to play their role by supporting the initiative in making sure the campus is safe for learning.

INVITATION OF MAPOLY STUDENTS TO HUAWEI AI APPLICATION & CERTIFICATION.

This is to invite interested Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY) Students to benefit from the 2nd Batch of Huawei Technology ICT Academy Training on Artificial Intelligence (AI)

This course will develop students' capabilities of using machine learning and deep learning algorithms, providing students with the skills needed to master the basic principles of modern AI and machine learning.

This course aims to lay a foundation of a skilled workforce for future AI project planning and solution design for students.

Interested students should apply, join the instructor class, take the mock exam to become skilled AI students.

Mode of Application:

2. Click on User Center, select My Classes, input the Invitation Code: G0c7hk and join.

3. Fill in your studentship details correctly and wait for approval shortly.

NB: *Major means Course of Study.

Active students, who join an online class, should carefully study the course content before taking the final mock test to benefit from the incentive package and further Certification by the Organizers.

All applications must be submitted on or before the 16th of November, 2023. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) course begins 20th-30th November, 2023.

50% Discount on BRT Fares Ends Sunday

The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority has announced the end of the 50% transport fare discount on BRT which was implemented in response to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's directive on August 2, 2023.

This was made known in a statement shared by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority on its X account on Saturday.

LAMATA disclosed that the temporary 50% fare reduction will end this Sunday, with transportation fares reverting to their pre-August 2 rates on Monday.

The agency advised residents to take note of the change and to make the necessary preparations for the resumption of regular transport fare rates that were in place before the adjustment made in August.

The statement said, "The 50% rebate in transport fare in the regulated transport system in Lagos ends on Sunday, a statement by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority has said.

"The 50% fare rebate was announced by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on August 2, 2023.

"The public is hereby informed that from Monday, November 6, 2023, transport fare will return to the pre-2nd August 2023 rate."
