*2025/2026 LASUED INDEPENDENT INDIGENESHIP VERIFICATION EXERCISE FOR CANDIDATES WHO ARE INDIGENES OF LAGOS STATE*

All candidates of Lagos State Origin who chose Lagos State University of Education as First Choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and scored a minimum of *170* are hereby informed that the Online Registration for Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise for the 2025/2026 Admission Exercise will commence on Wednesday, 11th June 2025 and close on Sunday, 13th July, 2025.
The Verification Interview shall be for a period of four (4) weeks, starting from Monday, 30th June, 2025 to Thursday, 24th July, 2025.
●. Please NOTE that the Independent Indigeneship Verification *Exercise does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into the Lagos State University of Education.*

● Please *NOTE* that *ONLY* Candidates who are of Lagos State Origin are eligible for screening. Candidates in this category are expected to be CLEARED by the LASUED Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (LIIVC) BEFORE being considered for admission;

●Old applicants for *2024/2025 Academic Sessions that have not been offered admission will only Revalidate their Indigeneship Clearance Certificates at the same venue and
● All Direct Entry applicants who are of Lagos State Origin are to participate in this Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise before they can be considered for admission.
