SUMMARY OF FIVE YEARS JOURNEY
Dear esteemed vibrant Ladies and gentlemen, most importantly the superb DE.2018 Class of 2023 from the Department of Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering.
Today, I am outrightly engrossed with a mix up feeling in the areas of emotions - pride, self - satisfactoryness, self fulfillment, nostalgia, and as well a renowned sense of accomplishment.
We have for long saddle through the challenging environ of chemical and petrochemical engineering, scaling up and down the heights of Strength of Material, the nook and cranny of Thermodynamics, encountered diverse flowrates of diverse media in Fluid Mechanics, Criteria that justified mass transfer in Transport phenomenon and reaction kinetics just to mention but a few.
I know very much well, that we all earned this strength and tempo in achieving this immeasurable feat not by our well to do and ability but by the genuine spirit of the most High God that quickens out mortal body when laziness tried to set in its ugly head.
Therefore, it's an honor for me to bid farewell to the die hard studious students of Rivers State University in the department of Chemical/petrochemical as we embark on the next phase of our lives.
Our time here has been notably awesome as we all engaged our heads together in devising ideas that a resolute in solving chemical reaction problems, because we all are build up mentally by different academics experts at the secondary basis. Which happens to be an instruments that we all held up to that got us stabilized when the going scale up to frustrate us.
However, chemical reaction problems are always reached out with utmost answer when we combined our knowledge, perseverance, and passion to create a transformation.
Every now and then, each time I recollect it's beats my imagination of how everyone of us were creative in playing a vital role, just like the reactants in a reaction vessel, coming together to yield a product greater than the sum of its parts - a well-rounded, capable engineer.
Throughout our academic journey, we've faced hurdles like the larminar and turbulent flow of exams and the endothermic/exothermic reactions of deadlines. But just as a the aim of a catalyst is to solely promotes and speed up a chemical reaction, we see our dying hard determination catalyzing our growth. hence, propelling us forward even in the face of stand-by adversity.
In the world of chemical engineering, we've learned that equilibrium is a state of balance. As we move forward, we must strive to find that equilibrium in our lives, balancing our professional aspirations with personal goals and responsibilities.
Just as in mass and energy balances, where nothing is created or destroyed, only transformed, let us transform our knowledge and experiences into actions that will make a positive impact in our environment and the world at large.
Remember, in the complex world of petrochemical engineering, even the smallest changes can have profound effects. Your actions, however small they may seem, can ripple through society like the downstream consequences of a catalyst in a chemical plant.
As we part ways and step into the real world, never forget the lessons we've learned here. Just as we wouldn't neglect safety protocols in a hazardous environment, let us always prioritize safety and ethics in our professional and personal lives.
In conclusion, Class of 2023, I want to leave you with this: life is like a continuous distillation process, where we separate the valuable from the unnecessary. Make the most of your journey, keep evolving, and embrace change like a reactor that adapts to varying conditions.
I have no doubt that each of you will go on to achieve great things, just as a finely tuned control system optimizes a chemical process. Congratulations on your achievements thus far, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Farewell, and may the principles of chemical and petrochemical engineering guide you in all your pursuits.
VOTE OF THANKS:
All thanks to God Almighty, who in His infinite mercies has saddle us with impregnable wall of protection round about. Spanning from the year 2018 to 2023 non have been registered dead. Hallelujah π¦Έπͺπ
we all came in with life and expectation and we saw and conquer with life and renowned B. Tech degree loading. Lord to you alone be all thy glory.
