NEW MONTH MESSAGE FROM THE VICE-CHANCELLOR TO STAFF, STUDENTS AND THE ENTIRE CRAWFORD UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
Dear Distinguished Members of Staff, Esteemed Students, and the entire Crawford University Family,
I warmly welcome you all to the month of September 2026.
We give glory to Almighty God for His faithfulness, sustaining grace and unfailing mercies over Crawford University. Indeed, “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:23).
As we begin another month, I wish to express my profound appreciation to every member of our university community for your commitment, cooperation and invaluable contributions to the progress of our institution.
In particular, I commend and sincerely thank the Chancellor, Board of Trustees, the Governing Council, Management, Senate, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, academic and non-teaching staff, students and all stakeholders who played various roles in the recently concluded NUC Resource Verification Exercise for our proposed College of Allied Health Sciences, covering six programmes—Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Community Health and Public Health—as well as our three proposed postgraduate programmes in M.Sc. Finance, M.Sc. Marketing and M.Sc. Mass Communication.
The exercise was a significant milestone in our collective aspiration to expand the frontiers of knowledge, strengthen our academic offerings and position Crawford University for greater relevance and impact. I appreciate the sacrifices, diligence and team spirit demonstrated by everyone involved. We have done our part with faith, commitment and professionalism, and we now commit the outcome into the hands of God, trusting Him for positive and favourable results.
Another major highlight of this month is the hosting of the International Conference of the International Association of Language Educators. This provides a valuable platform for intellectual exchange, professional networking and the global projection of Crawford University. I strongly encourage all academic staff to participate actively in the Conference and take advantage of the opportunities it offers for scholarship, collaboration and professional development.
Furthermore, I encourage all members of staff to participate meaningfully in the various VICBHE programmes commencing this month. Our collective engagement with these programmes will contribute significantly to institutional development, capacity building and the achievement of our strategic objectives.
As we continue to build a university distinguished by excellence, innovation, integrity and service, let us remain united in purpose and steadfast in our commitment to the Crawford ideal of “Knowledge with Godliness.” Every achievement recorded by this institution is a product of collective effort, and every new milestone challenges us to do even more.
As we step into this new month, I pray that September shall bring to every member of the Crawford University community victory over every challenge, divine recovery of lost opportunities, abundant divine provision, good success, good news and pleasant surprises.
May God grant our students excellence in their endeavours, strengthen our staff, prosper the works of our hands, preserve our families and continue to enlarge the coast of Crawford University.
We also remember with gratitude and prayers the Apostolic Faith Church worldwide, the owners of Crawford University. May God continue to strengthen, prosper and uphold the Church and its leadership, and may the vision and mission for which Crawford University was established continue to flourish to the glory of God.
Welcome to September, the month of victory, recovery, provision, success, good news and pleasant surprises!
May this be a month in which doors open, possibilities multiply, efforts yield results, and testimonies abound.
I wish you all a most fruitful, fulfilling and victorious month.
Happy New Month!
