The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) is excited to announce the commencement of the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. We have secured approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to offer nine (9) newly approved academic programmes!

If you chose FUTMINNA as your first choice in the 2025 JAMB and meet the admission criteria, you are invited to apply!

The Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) is currently running and will close at midnight on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

# # # 🩺 NEW PROGRAMMES IN MEDICINE & HEALTH SCIENCES

FUTMINNA is proud to introduce several high-demand medical and health-related courses.

Mandatory Requirements for ALL Programmes in this Category:
O' Level Subjects (5 Credits): English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
UTME Subject Combination: Chemistry, Biology, and Physics (CHE, BIO, PHY).

Programmes and Minimum JAMB Cut-Off Marks:

Medicine and Surgery (MDS): Minimum JAMB Cut-Off is 250. (School of Basic Medical Sciences - SBMS)
Nursing Science (NRS): Minimum JAMB Cut-Off is 230. (School of Allied Health Sciences - SAHS)
Medical Laboratory Science (MLS): Minimum JAMB Cut-Off is 230. (School of Allied Health Sciences - SAHS)
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) (DRP): Minimum JAMB Cut-Off is 230. (School of Pharmaceutical Sciences - SPhS)
Human Anatomy (HNA): Minimum JAMB Cut-Off is 170. (School of Basic Medical Sciences - SBMS)
Human Physiology (HNP): Minimum JAMB Cut-Off is 170. (School of Basic Medical Sciences - SBMS)

# # # ⚙️ OTHER NEW TECHNOLOGY-FOCUSED PROGRAMMES

Here are the requirements for the other new science and technology programmes:

1. Biotechnology (BOT) - (School of Life Sciences, Cut-Off: 170)
O' Level Subjects (5 Credits): English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
UTME Subject Combination: Chemistry, Biology, and Physics/Biology/Mathematics (CHE, BIO, PHY/BIO, MAT).

2. Procurement Mgt. Tech (PAT) - (School of Innovative Technology, Cut-Off: 150)
O' Level Subjects (5 Credits): English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two from Data Processing, Computer Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Agric. Science/Biology, Financial Accounting, Geography, and Marketing.
UTME Subject Combination: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Economics/Biology (MAT, PHY, CHE/ECO, BIO).

3. Logistics & Supply Chain Mgt. (LSM) - (School of Innovative Technology, Cut-Off: 150)
O' Level Subjects (5 Credits): English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two from Data Processing, Computer Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Agric. Science, Biology, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, and Business Methods.
UTME Subject Combination: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Economics/Biology (MAT, PHY, CHE/ECO, BIO).

# # # ✅ GENERAL ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

Candidates must have selected FUTMINNA as first choice in the 2025 JAMB.
Candidates must have a UTME score not less than the minimum cut-off marks shown.
All candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) 'O' Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in subjects relevant to their proposed courses at not more than two sittings.
Candidates must be 16 years of age or older as at September 30, 2025.
O’ LEVEL RESULTS MUST BE UPLOADED ON THE JAMB WEBSITE – CAPS.

HOW TO REGISTER:
1. Visit the University's website (Check the official school portal link).
2. Click on "2025/2026 UPASE (2025 UTME)" then 'UPASE- UTME'.
3. Enter your JAMB registration number and one of your names and click 'Login'.
4. If needed, you can choose another course if your subject combinations do not meet the minimum requirements for your current JAMB course.
5. Click 'Proceed to payment gateway' to pay the non-refundable fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only.
6. Print your document after successful payment.

The management of the Federal University of Technology Minna, wishes to inform all students and staff of the institution that following a Senate resolution at its 470th special meeting held on Thursday the 20th of October, 2022 a decision has been reached for Academic activities to resume on Monday, the 24th of October, 2022.

All staff particularly members of SSANU, NASU and NAAT who were hitherto permitted to work from home following the suspension of their strike action are to resume with effect from the aforementioned date unfailingly.

Find attached an adjusted calendar of the 2021/2022 Academic session.

For the avoidance of doubt, futminna post utme and DE for the past seven years have not been via the sales of any form or whatsoever. In due time, prospective candidates who had selected FUTMINNA as first choice shall rather visit the university website to register and pay for the screening exercise. Correct update on comment of registration and the POSTUTME screening will made available through the school website on this platform. We urge all our teaming aspirants to be beware of fake news and directives aimed at defrauding them of their money. Aspirant, FUTMinna has POSTPONED RESUMPTION FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC SESSION which was initially slated for 26th/7/2021. The new academic session is expected to commence in September 2021. With this development all newly admitted students are expected to remain at home till September when the new academic session shall commenced.

ACCEPTANCE FEES PAYMENT AND CLEARANCE
Step by Step Instructions for Payment of Acceptance Fees
(Simplified and made easy for you by InfoMAS)

1. Visit the school site and Click on ‘2020/2021 Undergraduate Admission Status’ Link to Print/Reprint your admission status, so that you can retrieve your STUDENT ID. that looks like: M1900215.
for simplicity sake, follow this link

Enter you JAMB No. and one of your NAME to login to your status page. You will find your student ID on this page if you are successfully logged in. It looks like M1900021
3. Now, After retrieving your student ID from the above step, click on below link and do step 4-6

4. Enter your STUDENT ID
5. Click View
6. Click ‘Submit’ button
A page is displayed, showing the email automatically created for you by the school. Copy or write down this email. You will have to login to this email to retrieve your password in order to access your account on the school portal.
Now to Access this email;
i. Visit https://accounts.google.com/signin to open gmail
i. Enter your school email into the gmail box and click the next button.
Iii. A page will display asking for password. Enter your JAMB registration NUMBER as PASSWORD (Type the last two alphabets in your JAMB reg number in CAPITAL LETTERS)
viii. Click login
Now, the system may prompt you to change your password or confirm your recovery phone number (optional)
ix. Proceed to click on the inbox to retrieve the code sent to your email. (Note: If there is no code in the inbox, check the Spam folder for the code)
Now after retrieving the code send to your email, click on the below link and do the following steps

9. Enter your Student Id and the code you earlier retrieved from the email as password.
10. Click on the Login button
11. Click on the Acceptance Fee menu on your personal page
12. Select payment type (Remitta or Online payment via verve or mastercard and click on submit button to complete your transaction.

Remember acceptance fees payment will close by end of march 31/03/2021.
