FLAG-OFF & LAUNCH DECLARATION OF THE GREATER BOMADI INITIATIVE

My dear brothers and sisters of Bomadi L.G.A, distinguished leaders, elders, youth, Students, women, friends and well-wishers, I want to thank you all today. Your participation and engagements alone is a sign that we all share one common desire to see Bomadi move forward.

Today, I present before you with humility, but also with a deep sense of responsibility, to officially flag off and launch the Greater Bomadi Initiative.
This initiative didn’t come from politics. It didn’t come from personal ambition, but rather, It came from a simple understanding; that Bomadi needs a united platform; a place where everyone who believes in progress can come together, coordinate, contribute ideas, and support the development of Bomadi Local Government Area.

Over the years, we have seen how much difference good organization and community involvement can make. So we decided that instead of standing on the sidelines and just talking about change, we would build a structure that can actually support it. The Greater Bomadi Initiative is that structure.

It is a platform created to back the efforts of our Local Government Chairman, to strengthen communication between the people and the leadership, and to ensure that every community, from the smallest settlement to the biggest town, feels connected and heard.

This initiative is for development, It is for unity, It is for collaboration, and it is for the future of our LGA.
As we launch today, we are committing ourselves to real work; mobilizing our communities, reaching out to stakeholders, supporting government programmes, gathering feedback from the grassroots, and ensuring that Bomadi remains peaceful, progressive, and united under the Hon. Dagidi Andaye Led Administration and beyond.

I want to make one thing clear, This initiative belongs to the people, It is not about one person or about one group but instead, It is about all of us coming together to push Bomadi forward.

To our youth, you are the strength of this movement. To our women you are the heart of this movement. To our elders, your wisdom will guide this movement. To everyone here who believes in service, this movement is yours.

Today, with all sense of honour and commitment, I officially declare the Greater Bomadi Initiative FLAGGED OFF and LAUNCHED, on this day 24th November, 2025.

May this platform bring us closer, may it inspire us to do more for our people and may Bomadi Local Government continue to grow in peace, unity, and progress.

Thank you all, and God bless Bomadi Local Government Area.
God bless Delta State.
God bless Nigeria.

Amb. Kings Tamarapreye CNS
Director-General,
Greater Bomadi Initiative.

Today, I had the profound honor of being presented with the Nigeria Local Government Chairman of the Year 2025 Award by Times Africa Magazine, in recognition of my commitment to grassroots governance, public service, and the overall development of Bomadi Local Government Area across all sectors. The award ceremony took place at the Nigeria National Merit House, Abuja.

I was also privileged to receive an Award of Excellence as an Icon of Societal Transformation from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), National Headquarters, acknowledging my contributions to youth empowerment, humanitarian service, and educational advancement.

I remain deeply humbled by these recognitions and do not take them for granted. Rather, they serve as a renewed call to duty, inspiring me to work even harder in delivering the true dividends of democracy to our people.

I dedicate these awards first to God Almighty, to my dear wife for her unwavering support, and to my boss, the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, whose visionary leadership and motivating policies I strive to replicate at the local government level. Finally, I wholeheartedly dedicate these honors to all Bomadians for their steadfast support and confidence in our administration.
