uate Studies [SPGS], was established in 1991 with the objective of offering postgraduate training in various disciplines: Directed towards impacting graduate students with the spirit of enquiry and research in an atmosphere of intellectual independence, in 1997, 202 students were first admitted into ten programmes.Since then, students' admission has been on the increase and more programmes are being approved to meet the yearnings of prospective students. At the moment, there are 133 programmes being run across six schools (faculties) including the Centre for Peace and Security Studies. The school is committed to providing high quality postgraduate training through the provision of adequate teaching and learning faculties, conducive learning environment, thorough and high quality postgraduate supervision and timely graduation of all hard working students.
