An Institution strongly built for over five decades, a foundation of nurtured generations of Doctors dedicated in the field of Medicine.

From its firm roots, knowledge and service that touched lives across the globe. This art piece is drawn to commemorate the celebration of the 50th anniversary of AMEC BCCM.

Starting from the year 1935 to 1980, the three pillars were created. The Ago General Hospital (AGH), the academe; Ago Medical and educational Center to the Bicol Christian College of Medicine that housed students both foreign and local to carry out its long standing legacy.

Each of the flag symbolizes the unity that was made for students from different nationalities, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, AMEC-BCCM has extended its service and opened doors of opportunities for every aspiring medical practitioner.

Therefore, the theme "Golden roots, global reach" incases a mindset that brings you to places, connecting each and everyone of us to serve humanity.

The College of Arts and Sciences(𝘾𝘼𝙎) at Ago Medical and Educational Center kicked off the 2025–2026 Academic Year with a 𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘖𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 on August 27, 2025, in partnership with the Departments of Psychology and Biology.

The event warmly welcomed new students, introducing them to academic guidelines, school culture, and opportunities while fostering a strong sense of belonging within the 𝘾𝘼𝙎 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮. Alongside informative sessions, students enjoyed 𝘧𝘶𝘯 𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘴, making it a lively and memorable start to a promising school year!
