๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’™ BESS officers proudly took part in the inauguration of the H.E.A.L.T.H. C.H.E.C.K. Academy 2026 in Barangay Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City, in partnership with the SK Kauswagan CDO - Sangguniang Kabataan Kauswagan.

This one-year community extension project of the Biomedical Engineering Department aims to promote health technology literacy, preventive healthcare awareness, and a better understanding of the human body among the youth.

The opening session featured interactive discussions on community health, preventive care, biomedical engineering applications, body systems, and common health concerns in the community. Through this initiative, participants are encouraged to become youth advocates for health awareness in their barangay.
