On May 13, 2024, the students of GEC109-E, under the mentorship of Sir Nelson S. Dino, organized a thought-provoking seminar at the American Corner of Tawi-Tawi, exploring the intriguing question, "What if Dr. Jose Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, had not met his untimely demise?" This seminar also serve as their final examination in this course.
The event was a testament to the students' dedication and intellectual curiosity, as they delved into the untold possibilities and alternative narratives that could have unfolded Rizal's life taken a different course.
The seminar was graced by a distinguished speaker who shared their insightful perspectives on this captivating topic, captivating the audience with their deep understanding of Rizal's life and the historical context. followed by the open forum that was marked by an engaging and lively discussion, as the attendees actively shared their own ideas and interpretations, contributing to a rich and enlightening exchange of knowledge.
