The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (CTHM) together with the 𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (RDIE), proudly took part in the 2025 4𝐭𝐡 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (MTC) 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 and the discussion of the 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (MOA) between 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 (CSUCC) and the 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐬 𝐍𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬, held last November 11, 2025.🩷💚

This important meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration between the University and the Local Government Unit in the formulation of the 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 (MTDP) for 2027–2031, as well as the "𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 2026". The discussions focused on identifying strategies, priorities, and programs that will help shape a sustainable, community-driven approach to tourism development in Las Nieves.

Representatives from CTHM and CSUCC RDIE actively participated in the dialogue, providing insights and technical expertise aligned with CSU’s commitment to research-based planning, innovation, local governance support, and sustainable tourism initiatives.🌏💚

This partnership highlights a shared vision of inclusive growth, cultural preservation, and environmental stewardship, fostering collaboration between the academe and the local government to develop a comprehensive tourism roadmap that showcases Las Nieves’ natural attractions, heritage, and local experiences. 🌸

Together, we continue to build strong alliances that pave the way for a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable tourism industry in the years ahead.🙌

𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: Work and classes for both campuses are SUSPENDED tomorrow, November 4, 2025, as heavy rainfall persists in the region amidst the anticipated landfall of Typhoon Tino (formerly Severe Tropical Storm Tino).

OP Memorandum Order No. 380, s. 2025 is hereby released following the official announcement of the City Government of Butuan and the decision of the top management to ensure the safety and security of all its constituents.

As of this writing, Butuan and Cabadbaran Cities are under Typhoon Signal Nos. 2 and 1, respectively. Everyone is urged to take precautionary measures and remain informed through reliable weather updates, advisories from government units, and announcements from the university’s official communication channels.
