SSC-RdC Holds Its Annual CDC

November 12— As a part of Green and Gold Festival 2019, San Sebastian College - Recoletos de Cavite (SSC-RdC) held its annual Cheer Dance Competition (CDC) at the Recoletos 4th Centennial Gymnasium.

Wearing their Hawaiian-themed costumes, Roaring Lions composed of Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) students was the first team to perform. Black Panthers (College of Information Technology and Engineering Students) followed and showcased their routines.

Meanwhile, this year, Institute of Nursing (ION) made a comeback in the CDC. "Sobrang hirap noong una kasi kaunti lang kaming mga nursing, 'di katulad ng ibang department na may mga ka merge na other courses", Eladie Vasquez, ION Secretary said. "Unang naging problema talaga namin is yung disadvantage namin na kulang kami sa mga mag paparticipate, so ni-required talaga na sumali kami lahat sa lahat ng activities especially sa cheerdance", she added.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics’ (STEM) Prowling Cheetah was the last team to perform.

On the other hand, Humanities and Social Sciences and Technical Vocational and Livelihood, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Accountancy, and College of Criminal Justice Education failed to join the said competition.

Winners will be announced in the night of Mr. and Ms. Intramural 2019
