The 5th MDP Student Conference 2026 was successfully conducted via Zoom on March 7, 2026, gathering academic leaders, researchers, and students under the theme, “Driving Future Economy through AI and Digital Sustainability: Building Smart and Circular Innovation for a Resilient Future.” The conference highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence and digital transformation in shaping sustainable and resilient economies. Organized by Universitas Multi Data Palembang and co-hosted by the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria), the virtual conference served as a platform for knowledge exchange and research presentations among participating institutions.

Faculty members from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria) participated in the 4th Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Conference held on March 12–13, 2026, at the Philomene Labrecque Hall of San Pedro College, Davao City. The two-day conference gathered educators and academic leaders from various institutions across the country to explore strategies for implementing Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). This approach connects students and faculty from different countries through virtual collaboration and intercultural learning.

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria), through its Department of Environmental Engineering and the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Brawijaya (FAT-UB), Indonesia, successfully carried out a community development initiative on February 7, 2026, at Lanise, Claveria, Misamis Oriental, to convert coffee waste into useful products and advance public health.
