In celebration of 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 30, 2026, the BSEd-English 3rd Year students successfully completed their literary translation activity on 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 1, 2026, as part of their course subject, 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 1: 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐬, under the guidance of their course instructor, 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚 𝐁. 𝐏𝐞. The activity involved translating selected well-known works of English literature from English into Filipino, showcasing their language skills, creativity, and appreciation for literature.

Beyond translating the selected literary works, the course requirements also called for the students to present and discuss their translated texts, the translation strategies they employed, the challenges they encountered throughout the process, and the lessons they learned from translating the works. Through these presentations, the students were able to reflect on the complexities of literary translation and gain a deeper understanding of the process.

Through this activity, the students experienced how translation goes beyond simply changing words from one language to another. It is also about preserving the meaning, emotions, and essence of a literary work while making it accessible to Filipino readers.

On 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 29, 2026, the Higher Council and Lower Councils gathered at the Multipurpose Building Function Hall for an organizational meeting. The discussion focused on aligning plans, strengthening partnerships, and preparing for upcoming campus-wide initiatives. The English Club actively participated in this important gathering.

During the meeting, key agendas were presented and finalized to ensure smooth ex*****on and active student involvement. These included finalizing committee assignments and logistics for the Induction Ceremony and Acquaintance Party, plans for World Teachers’ Day, addressing inquiries regarding the new Attendance System, and discussing activities for the upcoming University Day.

Together, the Higher and Lower Councils continue to work hand in hand—listening, contributing, and building a more active and united campus community.

‎Following these remarkable individual performances, the students then brought the stage to life with an elegant Chamber Theater presentation of “𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔” by 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑮𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒎, further showcasing their creativity, theatricality, and command of performance.
