Tennielle Bedua Madis, a former SBC Elementary and High School student, has made us immensely proud as her exceptional talent and dedication in tennis earned her a place in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in Thailand this year.

Her journey—from honing her skills as a young student-athlete to competing on one of Southeast Asia’s biggest sporting stages—is a powerful testament to her perseverance, discipline, and passion for excellence. Tennielle’s achievement not only reflects her personal hard work, but also serves as an inspiration to the entire SBC community and to aspiring athletes everywhere.

Tennis duo Tenielle Madis and Stefi Aludo snatched a bronze medal in the Women’s Doubles coming off a monumental shocker to upset Thailand’s duo – both WTA-ranked players – in their quarterfinal match.

However, Tenielle and Stefi fell short against Indonesia’s duo at the expense of a final ticket.

Tenielle (18y/o) and Stefi (17y/o) are just smashing their up for more greatness! Salamat sa karangalan!

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The NSTP Emotional Health Awareness Lecture, held on December 13, 2025 at the SBC Gym, emphasized the integration of faith, emotional healing, and personal resilience as students were guided by Prof. Lyra May R. Alvariño, MSPsych, RPSy, CHRA.

In support of the Department of Health (DOH) mental health advocacy, good health and well-being, this initiative nurtures holistic growth by caring for the mind, heart, and spirit.

The Campus Movers for Christ (CMC), led by Prof. Mariz Benosa, conducted a Campus Ministry session at Dalapitan High School, inspiring students through faith-based values, encouragement, and personal growth.

Another strong demonstration of institutional collaboration between Southern Baptist College, the Cotabato Provincial Police Office , and the Mlang PNP, EVP Prof. Novie Joy Salmorin, who also serves as the Vice Chairperson for External Affairs of the Municipal Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (MAGPTD), joins the Provincial and Municipal Police Officers in the Pamaskong Handog 2025 at Brgy. New Lawaan, Mlang, Cotabato.

Through collaborative service, SBC and the PNP continue to champion sustainable, people-centered development in the community.

Southern Baptist College joyfully celebrates Ms. Zuhrea M. Abubakar, 2024 Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate, for successfully passing the October 2025 CPA Board Examination!

Her achievement was honored through a Recognition Ceremony, Motorcade, and Thanksgiving Program, held in grateful celebration of her hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊! Southern Baptist College, through its Extension Program headed by Prof. Joscel P. Enardecido, conducted a community engagement activity at Pag-asa Inside Elementary School on November 24, 2025. The initiative featured the CIT Digital Awareness Program and Book Donation Drive, aimed at enhancing pupils’ digital literacy and supporting their learning needs.

The digital awareness lecture was delivered by Prof. Donald Salminao, Prof. Carlito Halangdon Jr., and Engr. Ric Ryan Bitgue, who shared essential insights on responsible and safe use of technology.
Complementing the session, SBC also organized a Book Donation Drive, led by the SBC Librarians and BLIS students, to enrich the school’s reading resources and foster a love for reading.

This extension activity strengthened community engagement and underscored SBC’s commitment to education and service.

SBC NSTP students proudly showcase their FAITH Gardening journey — from planting tiny seeds, to nurturing each plant with care, to harvesting fresh produce, and finally selling their homegrown products.

This hands-on experience not only promotes sustainability and food security, but also teaches responsibility, teamwork, and the joy of reaping what they have sown.

SBC Administrators, Faculty, and Staff joined the Mlang Educators’ Night 2025 on December 4 at the Mlang Municipal Stadium, celebrating excellence in education.

Together with educators from Mlang East, North, South, Central Districts, and the Private Schools sector, SBC shared in an evening of camaraderie, recognition, and inspiration—honoring the dedication of all who shape the future of our learners.
