The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) faculty convened for a productive departmental meeting to discuss key academic and administrative concerns, with a primary focus on the 𝑩𝑻𝑳𝑬𝑫 𝑪𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒖𝒎 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 📖. The session provided an avenue for evaluating and enhancing the curriculum to ensure its alignment with current educational standards and industry demands. Faculty members also deliberated on 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 📋, program initiatives, and strategies aimed at strengthening instruction and student development. Creativity, passion, and learning came together in this meaningful training workshop that showcased different hands-on activities such as 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒕🧶, 𝒕𝒊𝒆-𝒅𝒚𝒆👕, 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒅-𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌📿, and the making of beautiful flowers from 𝒇𝒖𝒛𝒛𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒓𝒆. 🌸✨ Led by 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔 Ethyl Ancajas - Borja, 𝑴𝑻𝑬, this inspiring activity provided students with the opportunity to develop their creativity, patience, and practical skills while exploring the beauty of handmade crafts and artistic expression. Also, demonstrated by the BTLED HE 3. Anchored with 𝑯𝑬 121, 𝑯𝑬 122, and 𝑬𝑫𝑼𝑪 609, the training became a meaningful experience that highlighted the importance of innovation, craftsmanship, and experiential learning in Home Economics education. Through every stitch, color, bead, and handcrafted flower, participants not only created beautiful outputs but also discovered the value of dedication, collaboration, and the joy of learning new skills that can inspire future opportunities and creativity in everyday life. 💖

𝗦𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀✨

The 𝟐-𝖽𝖺𝗒 𝖳𝗋𝖺𝗂𝗇𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖯𝗋𝗈𝗀𝗋𝖺𝗆 held on April 27 and 28 was a meaningful and 𝗁𝖺𝗇𝖽𝗌-𝗈𝗇 𝗅𝖾𝖺𝗋𝗇𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖾𝗑𝗉𝖾𝗋𝗂𝖾𝗇𝖼𝖾 for the 3rd year BTLED students. Led by 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐓. 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐬, 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐝 and anchored to HE 120: Clothing Construction, the activity helped students improve their skills in dressmaking and understand the basics of garment creation. With the support and guidance of Ma’am 𝐄𝐥𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐣𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫, students were able to practice proper techniques and gain confidence in their work. This training not only enhanced their knowledge but also inspired them to be more creative and skilled in the field of clothing construction.
