White Uniforms, New Horizons: 166 ISU-E Nursing Students mark end of clinical journey

Years of lectures, return demonstrations, case presentations, and clinical duties culminated today, June 1, as 166 fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing students of Isabela State University-Echague marked their Clinical Graduation at the ISU Amphitheater, closing a chapter defined by service and training within healthcare settings.

Carrying the theme, “Compassion Beyond Competence and Timeless Care: The Heart of Modern ISUan Future Nurses,” the ceremony recognized the students' completion of clinical duties across affiliated healthcare institutions. The event served as a formal transition from clinical training to the final phase of preparation for professional nursing practice.

Walter Romero, RN, Nurse II under the Department of Health Human Resource for Health Program and an alumnus of the BSN program of ISU-Echague, delivered the keynote address. Romero shared insights from his professional experience in public health service and encouraged the graduates to uphold the standards and responsibilities of the nursing profession as they move forward in their careers.

With the completion of their clinical requirements, the graduates now shift their focus to preparations for the August 2026 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination. The batch aims to contribute to the university's continued performance in the national licensure examination and hopes to secure another 100% passing rate.

Attention all first-year students of the Isabela State University College of Education! Please be informed that the annual Battery Examination is officially scheduled for June 15, 2026. This vital examination serves as the official screening process for our department and is the primary determinant for your promotion to the second-year level of the Education program.

As the examination date approaches, we strongly encourage all eligible freshmen to maximize this remaining time to review your core subjects and prepare yourselves mentally and physically for the assessment. Please ensure to keep posted at our official page for the release of specific room assignments, and any other required materials for the exam day.
