📢 TES VALIDATION ANNOUNCEMENT — SY 2026–2027

Good morning!
With regard to the memorandum issued earlier regarding the TES Validation for SY 2026–2027, we would like to request the following transferee grantees to submit the requirements below:

📌 Grantees:
Jecker M. Labanes – From CMU
Romuald John Galleros – From GCC

📄 Requirements:
COR/COE from the previous semester
COR/COE for the 1st Semester, SY 2026–2027

These requirements are necessary for the successful transfer of your TES grant to GCUC.

Failure to submit the required documents will result in your non-inclusion in the GCUC TES Masterlist.

For the other transferee grantees who were not able to submit the Certification from their respective Scholarship Coordinator, you are still given until Monday to submit the certification, together with the above-mentioned requirements.

CHED has released today a memorandum regarding the new TDP grantee for the First Semester, Academic Year 2025–2026.

In line with this, we would like to request the following grantee to submit the required documents on September 2, 2026, at the Admin Office.

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office X, through the UniFAST Unit, conducted the Orientation on the 2026 Revised Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) Guidelines for Focal Persons from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Region X, held on August 17, 2026, at N Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.
The activity provided HEI focal persons with updates and clarifications on the revised guidelines for TES and TDP, including discussions on program implementation and the presentation of relevant ICT systems to support the effective and efficient delivery of UniFAST programs. An open forum provided participants with the opportunity to seek clarification on the new provisions of the revised guidelines and share the issues they are experiencing in the implementation of TES and TDP programs in their respective institutions.
The orientation served as a venue for strengthening coordination and ensuring that HEI partners are well-informed and prepared to implement the updated guidelines for the benefit of student beneficiaries across Region X.

Good day, GCUCIANS! (LAST DAY OF THE TES APPLICATION)

In preparation for the upcoming Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Application this August 2026, all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are advised to open the application for qualified students.

In line with this, our institution will conduct the TES application process in compliance with the said memorandum.

Who can apply?
1. Filipino Citizen
2. Must be enrolled in a college
3. Must be taking their first undergraduate degree (must have no previous undergraduate degree)
4. Must not have exceeded the maximum number of years (5 years)
5. Must not be currently receiving any other government scholarship or ongoing financial assistance program, such as:
* TDP
* DOST Scholarship
* CHED Merit Scholarship
* COSCHO

Application period: Until August 14, 2026

Note: Submitting an application does not automatically ensure eligibility or approval, as all applications will undergo proper validation and are subject to the availability of funds.
