Congratulations to Mr. Jonathan Ballogan for passing the 2023 Civil Service Professional (CSP)level exam. Mr. Ballogan is a graduating student enrolled in the Department of Political Science of Ifugao State University. While having his Internship at the Department of Agrarian Reform-Ifugao he also prepared for the civil service exam for batch I that was scheduled last March 26, 2023. Fortunately, he nailed it.

Once again, the Department of Political Science faculty and staff is so proud of you. May you serve as an inspiration to all your schoolmates. Good luck on your next journey. God bless you!

Hello team PolSci! Here are the final designs submitted for the LOGO MAKING contest. We are now choosing the design that will best represent our Department. One of the criteria is "POPULARITY" which will come from the student body(or public). Hence may we ask for your full participation again for us to complete the 10 percent score for popularity?

LOOK!

The students enrolled in Internship II who are assigned in Philhealth Regional Office- Cordillera Administrative Region ( PRO-CAR) and Sanguniang Panglungsod of Baguio City are finally deployed on February 27,2023.Six students were deployed in PRO-CAR and nine in the Sanguniang Panglungsod of Baguio City.

The students were warmly welcomed by the two government agencies.In PRO-CAR, they were introduced during the hybrid flag ceremony to inform the other provincial offices that they have student interns and that they will be part of their office.They also informed the students that they will be having their automated daily time record similar to the employees of PRO-CAR.

In the City Hall of Baguio, the students together with their adviser had a courtesy call with the assistant city secretary, the city secretary, and Vice-Mayor Atty. Faustino Olowan, after they were oriented by the employee-in-charge. The students were also assured that they will be learning much in their stay at the City Hall. Vice Mayor Olowan prompted the staff to help the interns have the best internship experience.

The Department of Political Science is so proud and is wishing them a wonderful journey as they embark on their 306 hours of internship.

Thus, a digital logo-making contest is proposed to allow the students to participate in this historic activity.

Look!

The Department of Political Science conducted a Symposium and Constitutional Forum on February 22, 2023, at the Open Gymnasium of the University with the theme "Rekindling the Political Science Spartan Spirit through a Symposium and Constitutional Forum for the Association of Political Science Students." .

The first part of the program was the Constitutional Forum where the students were informed and involved in the revision of the Constitution and by-laws (CBL)of the Association of Political Science Students (APSS). The second part of the program was the Symposium where the students were briefed on the curriculum and other academic policies of the program (BAPos).
