The 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 of the 10th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, accompanied by his staff and 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗟 𝗔 𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗢𝗭𝗢 𝗚𝗦𝗖 (𝗔𝗥𝗠) 𝗣𝗔, Director of the 1002nd Community Defense Center, paid a courtesy visit to 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗜𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 to reinforce collaborative efforts in advancing the ROTC program. They were received by Chancellor 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗠. 𝗗𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗝𝗗, 𝗟𝗟𝗗, Vice Chancellor 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗣𝗵.𝗗., and key university officials including 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗷. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗣𝗵.𝗗., NSTP Coordinator, and 𝗦𝗴𝘁. 𝗘𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗚. 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, ROTC Coordinator. The engagement focused on strengthening institutional partnerships, enhancing ROTC implementation, improving cadet training systems, and expanding joint initiatives aligned with academic excellence and military preparedness. Highlights included the presentation of the 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗤𝗥 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 to ensure efficient registration, accurate monitoring, and real-time notifications for parents and the NSTP Office, followed by a strategic briefing from Corps Commander 𝗖𝗗𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗛𝗨𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗠 𝗠 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗔𝗢 (𝟭𝗖𝗟) outlining 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 priorities on leadership development, capability enhancement, operational readiness, and civil–military cooperation, with the presence of ROTC Tactical Officers 𝟭𝗟𝗧 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘅 𝗖. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲, 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀) and 𝟮𝗟𝗧 𝗙𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗖. 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗯, 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀), Admin NCO 𝗧𝗦𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗼 𝗛 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗲, and Non-Academic Tactical Officers led by 𝗠𝘀𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗧 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀). The visit underscored a shared commitment between MSU–IIT and the 10RCDG to cultivate disciplined, capable, and service-oriented cadets through strengthened collaboration, innovative systems, and aligned strategic priorities, ensuring the continued growth and effectiveness of the ROTC program in support of national development and security.

The MSU-IIT ROTC Unit conducted its formation last Sunday, December 14, 2025, serving as the final formation for the 1st semester. Cadets from various companies assembled in adherence to prescribed protocols, marking the culmination of weeks of training and instruction.

Alongside the regular formation, a grade consultation was carried out to provide cadets with the opportunity to review their academic standing and address concerns. Other companies simultaneously engaged in designated activities, ensuring the orderly conduct of unit operations for the day.

As the semester comes to a close, this final formation stands as a testament to the discipline, commitment, and perseverance demonstrated by the cadets throughout the training cycle—reinforcing the core values of leadership and service upheld by the MSU-IIT ROTC Unit.

The MSU-IIT ROTC Unit Advance Officers and Advance Cadets manifested their full support for the Armed Forces of the Philippines today, December 14, 2025, at Camp Pintoy, Suarez, Iligan City.

In observance of the AFP Founding Anniversary, our troops mobilized to participate in the Simultaneous RESCOM-Wide Blood Donation Activity. Anchored on the theme “Dugong Buhay Aming Alay Bilang mga Makabagong Bayani Tungo sa Matatag na Sandigan ng Bagong Pilipinas,” the unit stood in solidarity with the command, answering the call for humanitarian awareness and national service.

Through this mobilization, we demonstrate that the MSU-IIT ROTC Unit is always ready to answer the call of duty, fostering a spirit of volunteerism and compassion among the youth.

The MSU-IIT Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit (ROTCU) has declared the regular Sunday formation on December 14, 2025, at the MSU-IIT Campus. The activity will start at 0700H, and it will assemble the concerned ROTC members under official academic and administrative issues, which are critical aspects of guaranteeing transparency, accountability, and appropriate academic status within the Enlisted Corps.

ROTCU emphasized that participation is essential since such activities play a direct role in the ongoing development and discipline of future leaders.

Upholding military customs, 𝘾𝙊𝙇 𝘽𝙀𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙍𝘿 𝙏 𝙍𝘼𝙂𝙐𝙎 𝙁𝙎 (𝙂𝙎𝘾) 𝙋𝘼, newly promoted Group Commander of the 10th Regional Community Defense Group (10RCDG), Reserve Command, paid a Courtesy Call and Visit at the Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT). The visit was hosted by the Officer-in-Charge, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝙁 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙋𝙝𝘿, on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

COL RAGUS presented the newly developed system for taking the attendance of each cadet, offering a faster, more precise, and easier method. Each cadet will be provided with their own unique Quick Response (QR) code, which contains their personal information, academic background, and other basic details.

Additionally, COL RAGUS introduced the new training program for college students who graduated as Advanced Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) officers—the Officer Candidate Course–Reserve Officer Training Corps (OCC-ROTC), a new path for them to become part of the Regular Force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

National Service Training Program (NSTP) Director, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙈𝙖𝙟. 𝙈𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙚𝙡 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙍 𝙉𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙨, 𝙋𝙝𝘿, opened the program with his warm welcoming remarks.

The briefing presentation was delivered by 𝘾𝙙𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙡 𝙃𝙪𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙢 𝙈 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙤, 1𝘾𝙇, who provided a clear and well-structured discussion of the key points. In his presentation, he highlighted the improvements, achievements, ongoing activities, as well as the challenges that the MSU-IIT ROTCU has faced. This was followed by the feedback and message of COL RAGUS and Vice Chancellor Resurreccion, who addressed the concerns and recommendations raised by Cdt Col Bansao.

Overall, the program was a success, reflecting the unit’s preparedness in organizing the activities for the courtesy call and visit of the Group Commander. The event also highlighted the unit’s commitment to its future endeavors, as it continues to strive for further improvements, strengthened performance, and sustained excellence in all upcoming activities and operations.

The Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) ROTC Unit proudly participated in the two-day ROTC Advance Cadets Summit 2025, held at the 4ID Montalvan Hall, Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City.

Centered on the theme "𝐸𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐹𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝐿𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑇ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝐷𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑖𝑝𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑒, 𝑃𝑎𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑡𝑖𝑠𝑚, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒", the summit served as a vital platform for collaboration and development. Our unit joined fellow cadets in a series of activities designed to strengthen leadership capabilities and foster a deeper sense of national duty.

The MSU-IIT ROTC Unit held its 14th Formation on December 7, 2025 at the MSU-IIT Campus, marking another productive Sunday for the corps. The day was dedicated to keeping cadets active and prepared, allowing the unit to be engaged with the program’s goals.

Several companies participated in the formation, whereas the remaining companies focused on their Drills and Ceremonies for the morning. These sessions helped strengthen their discipline, accuracy of movements, and coordination as a unit. At the same time, grade consultations were conducted, giving cadets the chance to clarify their academic standing and discuss concerns directly with their training officers.

The MSU-IIT ROTC Unit extends its appreciation to all cadets for their commitment and professionalism, which contributed to another smooth and successful training day.

The MSU-IIT ROTC Unit announces the conduct of a regular formation on December 07, 2025 (Sunday) at MSU-IIT. All cadets are expected to attend and arrive on time as part of the Unit’s sustained commitment to discipline, readiness, and excellence in service.

Cadets are reminded to wear the prescribed uniform and maintain proper military bearing throughout the activity. Failure to comply with the required standards on uniform and bearing may result in the awarding of demerits in accordance with Memorandum No. 9 of the MSU-IIT ROTC Unit. The Unit emphasizes the importance of upholding professionalism and adherence to established regulations.

All cadets are also advised to bring sufficient drinking water and stay properly hydrated for the duration of the formation. The MSU-IIT ROTC Unit enjoins everyone to participate with discipline, preparedness, and pride.

The Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit Corps of Colors had the distinct honor of formally commencing the program for the JCI ILIGAN 74th Charter Anniversary, Induction & Turn Over Ceremony.

The unit executed the Entrance of Colors with military precision, setting the tone for the prestigious celebration held on November 29, 2025 at Sea La Vie, Sta, Felomina, Iligan City. We remain committed to supporting our community partners and upholding the highest traditions of the service.

Congratulations to JCI Iligan on 74 years of leadership and excellence.
