The ISUFST Di**le Campus, through its Gender and Development Office, successfully held the PAMUKAW: Caravan and Kick-Off Activity for the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) on November 27, 2025. The day opened with the gathering of participants at the ISUFST Di**le Campus Grounds, followed by the highly anticipated PAMUKAW Caravan that made its way around key areas of the municipality. With orange-themed vehicles, advocacy banners, and participants showcasing their support, the caravan successfully spread awareness and strengthened the communityโs collective stand against VAW.
After the caravan, participants convened for the formal program, which featured messages of support from university officials and partner agencies. A Symbolic Commitment Ceremony (Pledge for a VAW-Free Di**le) brought everyone together in a shared vow to uphold respect, safety, and empowerment for all women and girls in the community.
The resource speaker, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ ๐. ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐, Assistant Women and Children Protection Desk PNCO, provided a comprehensive and informative Talk Proper, focusing on the realities and challenges faced by women and children, as well as the role of the community in combating violence. ๐งก
