The College of Education (CEd) produced eight Civil Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) passers following the release of official results by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

August 2025 CSE-PPT passers were Elaiza Bangao, Mary Rose Cacho, and Mikylla C. Madriaga; March 2025 passers were Cristine Valdez, Lyka Marisse Juan, and Jacelyn V. Daguro; while March 2026 passers were Mylene Ferrer and Zoe Antonie Hidalgo.

Their success also serves as evidence of the College of Educationโ€™s capability in producing competent, service-oriented, and professionally prepared future educators and public servants.

The CSE-PPT serves as one of the governmentโ€™s qualifying examinations for individuals seeking eligibility for permanent positions in various government agencies and offices nationwide.

In line with this, the College of Education continues to strengthen its commitment to producing more Civil Service eligible students through quality instruction, professional training, and academic programs designed to prepare learners for future careers in public service and education.

The CEd community likewise conveyed its congratulations to the successful examinees for their hard work, determination, and achievement in bringing pride and honor to the college.

Truly we arenโ€™t Batang CEd for nothing.

The College of Education (CEd) Student Body Organization (SBO) was once again recognized as the Most Outstanding Student Body Organization during the Gawad Parangal held on April 23, 2026, on the second day of the Students' Week Festival (SWF).

The recognition also honors Program Chair Dr. Januard Dagdag, whose leadership continues to guide the academic community. Supporting the organization is Maโ€™am Iluminada Aguinaldo, adviser, who provide direction and mentorship to student leaders.

At the helm of the organization is SBO President Sheree Policarpio, working alongside fellow officers and members whose collective efforts contributed to this achievement.

Notably, this achievement signifies that the College of Education Student Body Organization has consistently retained its title as the Most Outstanding Student Body Organization since the return of face-to-face classes after the COVID-19 pandemicโ€”reflecting its sustained excellence and strong leadership through the years.

The award stands as proof of what Batang CEd can achieve through unity, dedication, and a shared commitment to serve.

Congratulations, CEd SBO, on this well-deserved recognition!

As the Studentsโ€™ Week Festival approaches, one of its highlightsโ€”the search for Queen of Queensโ€”draws attention to the representatives of Mangkwan, the merged team of future educators and enforcers of justice.

Stepping forward for the event are Jafel Urpiano, Prettyboy "Pretty" Pardua, and Richard โ€œChadyโ€ Remigio, carrying the name of the proud departments of the College of Education (CEd) and the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) as they take part in this much-awaited competition.

With the event fast approaching, the Mangkwan team stands behind them, extending its support and best wishes as they prepare for the stage.

May you present yourselves with confidence and make the most of the moment on stage. Whatever the result is, you are the winners for us. Good luck, Queensโ€”stand tall and show them what Mangkwan can do.
