Their victory was not born overnight. It was written in long nights of review, in lessons repeated until meaning finally settled, and in quiet prayers whispered when doubt grew louder than confidence. Today, those stories of struggle and resolve converge into one proud title: Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).

Passing the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers is more than crossing a professional threshold, it is the fulfillment of a calling. Behind every name on the list of new passers is a journey marked by sacrifice: families who believed, mentors who guided, and dreams that refused to surrender. The license they now hold is not merely a credential; it is a promise to serve, to shape minds, and to stand as pillars of hope in classrooms yet to be built.

In a world constantly redefining itself, education remains its strongest foundation. And at the heart of that foundation are teachers—patient, principled, and purposeful. The new LPTs step into this role at a crucial time, when learners need not only knowledge but compassion, resilience, and direction. Their success affirms that the future of education is in capable and committed hands.

This milestone is both an ending and a beginning. It closes a chapter of preparation and opens another of responsibility. With every lesson taught and every learner inspired, these new professionals will write their legacy—not in ink, but in lives changed.

Congratulations to the New Licensed Professional Teachers.
May your classrooms be spaces of courage and curiosity, your lessons seeds of lifelong learning, and your service a testament to the power of education to transform lives. Your names are now etched not only in the roll of passers, but in the unfolding story of the nation you will help shape.

Before this day ends—while the night quietly folds itself across the sky—let us pause and devote a moment to a man whose courage continues to echo across centuries: Andrés Bonifacio, the Great Plebeian, the Supremo of the Katipunan, and the heartbeat of a revolution that changed the fate of a nation.

We do not simply remember a historical icon.
We remember the ordinary Filipino who chose to rise.
The worker who dared to dream.
The citizen who refused to bow.
The man who believed that freedom was not a privilege for the few, but a right for all.

A Hero Shaped Not by Privilege, but by Conviction

Bonifacio did not enter the world with wealth or academic titles.
He grew up in hardship, raised his siblings alone, and carved his path through grit and relentless resolve. Yet it was this very simplicity—this closeness to the struggles of the common people—that made him the hero he became.

His strength was never drawn from power;
it was drawn from principle.
From the certainty that a nation shackled by oppression must one day break free.

Why His Voice Still Matters Tonight

As the world continually evolves—faster, louder, and more complex—the lessons of Bonifacio remain urgent.
His revolution reminds us that:

•Freedom is never accidental.
•Justice must be defended.
•A nation is built not only by leaders, but by its people—especially those who choose courage over comfort.

In an age of digital noise and fleeting concerns, Bonifacio’s voice cuts through the clutter. It reminds us that silence in the face of injustice is not peace—it is surrender. And surrender was never in his vocabulary.

Before This Day Reaches Its Final Hour

Let this night carry the weight of our gratitude.
Let us honor not just the hero carved in bronze, but the human being who stood up when standing up was dangerous, who fought when fighting meant death, and who dreamed of a Philippines where dignity belongs to everyone.

His legacy lives not only in textbooks, nor only in monuments, but in every Filipino who refuses to be defeated by circumstance.

Before this day ends, may we tell ourselves:
Bonifacio’s fight did not end with him.
It continues wherever truth is defended, wherever justice is pursued, and wherever hope refuses to die.

Tonight, we remember him.
Tomorrow, we live out the courage he left behind.

Long live the spirit of Andrés Bonifacio.
Long live the ever-brave Filipino people.

In moments when life decides to test our resilience, the true character of future educators shines brightest. The September BLEPT may have been postponed, suspended, and shaken by the wrath of a typhoon—but never, not once, was the spirit of the examinees diminished. Sa kabila ng unos, nanatili kayong nakahanda, nagtiwala, at hindi bumitaw sa pangarap na maglingkod sa bayan bilang lisensyadong g**o.

Now, the long wait is over.

Tomorrow marks another chance—your chance. It is the day when months of hard work, countless readings, sleepless nights, and heart-stirring prayers finally converge into one defining moment.

This is not just another exam day.
This is a culmination of sacrifice, courage, and faith.

As the new schedule for the BLEPT finally unfolds, we honor your perseverance. You are walking into those testing rooms carrying not only your knowledge, but the dreams of your families, your mentors, your communities, and the younger generations who will someday call you “Sir” and “Ma’am.”

May this journey remind you:

•That storms may delay you, but they can never derail your destiny.

•That you are more prepared than you think.

•And that tomorrow, you rise with renewed strength.

To all BLEPT takers—claim it.
This is your moment to shine.
This is your time to become the educator you were always meant to be.

Good luck, future Licensed Professional Teachers!

There are moments in the life of an institution that sparkle with promise - moments when a single appointment becomes a symbol of renewed energy, fresh direction, and boundless possibility. Today, the College of Teacher Education celebrates one such shining moment as we welcome a leader whose dedication, heart, and vision have long inspired the community.

We proudly and joyfully embrace Prof. Mia Q. Columbano as the new Dean of the College of Teacher Education, a role she steps into with grace, clarity, and a brilliance that elevates everyone around her.

And so, we give this celebration a name that reflects what her leadership truly embodies: MIAgnify

Because with her at the helm, we know our college will magnify its strengths,
magnify its impact,
magnify its excellence,
and magnify every dream that passes through its halls.

Prof. Columbano is a leader shaped by commitment and compassion, a teacher who listens deeply, a mentor who uplifts quietly, and a visionary who sees beyond challenges toward the possibilities they contain. She brings with her not only experience, but an undeniable spark: the kind that lights up ideas, ignites passion, and draws people toward progress.

Her leadership style is one that blends steadiness with spirit. She leads with intention, but also with kindness. She decides with wisdom, yet always with the heart of a teacher. And now, as Dean, she carries forward a promise: that the College of Teacher Education will continue to be a home for growth, innovation, and meaningful transformation.

Today, the college stands at the edge of a vibrant new chapter.
A chapter filled with renewed vision.
A chapter strengthened by unity.
A chapter illuminated by a leader who magnifies the best in people.

Congratulations, Prof. Mia Q. Columbano!
May your term as Dean be marked by milestones that shine, achievements that inspire, and a legacy that magnifies the values at the very heart of education.

Here’s to your leadership.
Here’s to your vision.

a future we are excited and honored to walk into with you.

In institutions like ours-where each corridor cradles a thousand untold stories-there are rare figures who do not simply lead; they illuminate. They become the steady pulse in the life of a college, the quiet force polishing the rough days into something bearable, even beautiful.

For the College of Teacher Education, that precious gem was Dr. Gemma R. Pascual.

For years, she stood not merely as Dean but as a brilliant cut in our institution’s crown - sharp in wisdom, warm in presence, and resilient in ways only those forged under pressure can ever become. She was the kind of leader who gleamed not for her own shine, but so others could see the path more clearly. A guiding light whose brilliance never sought spectacle, only service.

Like the rarest gemstones shaped by time and tested by fire, Dr. Pascual’s leadership reflected both strength and grace. She carried with her a quiet fortitude, the firmness that steadied us when the tides grew uncertain, the gentleness that soothed the weary, and the compassion that slipped unnoticed into moments we only understood the value of once they passed. If the halls could speak, they would shimmer with the echo of her footsteps that brought clarity in confusion, hope in heaviness, and direction in the darkest corners.

Under her watch, the College did not simply function; it radiated. It found its rhythm, its voice, its courage to dream grander dreams. She carved spaces where excellence could grow, where futures could be cut and refined like precious stones waiting for their moment to shine.

This is the kind of service that asks for no applause, yet deserves a thousand ovations. The kind of leadership that does not chase recognition, yet leaves behind a glow that cannot be dimmed.

As we look back, we remember a Dean who listened before she spoke, who mentored without overshadowing, who led with a quiet brilliance that never demanded the spotlight. A Dean whose strength was subtle but steady. Whose kindness was gentle but transformative. Whose commitment was unwavering even on days no one witnessed.

Maraming salamat, Dr. Gemma R. Pascual!
For the years you dedicated.
For the battles you fought for us.
For the dreams you nurtured and the lives you shaped with the sincerity only true educators possess.

Your chapter’s turning does not close a story - it merely reveals the facets of a legacy that will continue to sparkle in every classroom you strengthened, every teacher you inspired, and every student whose future is clearer, brighter, and more luminous because you chose to lead with heart.

You will always be a part of our story—
our GEMMAker,
our guiding light,
our enduring brilliance.

In every classroom, there is a quiet hero whose influence extends far beyond the four walls. On World Teachers’ Day, we pause to honor the men and women who dedicate their lives to shaping minds and nurturing hearts.

Teaching has long been called the noblest profession, and for good reason. Behind every successful student is a teacher who believed, who pushed, who sacrificed. They are the ones who stay late to check papers, rise early to prepare lessons, and face each day not for recognition but for the chance to make a difference.

This year’s celebration carries with it a deeper meaning. As education continues to evolve—moving between traditional classrooms and digital platforms—teachers remain the constant: guiding, mentoring, and inspiring. Their adaptability proves that teaching is not just a job, but a calling anchored on passion and resilience.

Beyond academics, teachers impart values—respect, discipline, empathy—that form the moral compass of society. In them, we find second parents, mentors, and role models who remind us that education is more than books; it is about becoming better human beings.

As the world celebrates Teachers’ Day, may we remember that appreciation need not come only once a year. A simple “thank you,” a heartfelt note, or the effort to listen in class is already a tribute to the immense labor of love teachers give every single day.

Indeed, teachers are the heartbeat of every classroom, and their legacy lives on in the countless lives they touch. Today and always, they deserve nothing less than our highest respect and gratitude.
