SOON-TO-BE KUYA

Taking their first step in service, Sir Rolly Casera and Sir Jenesis Mapa successfully carried out their initial Community Service activity—one of the standard requirements before becoming full-fledged Eagles. This milestone marks the fulfillment of one out of the three required Community Service (CS) activities, reflecting their growing commitment to service, brotherhood, and leadership.

In The Fraternal Order of Eagles (TFOE), aspiring members undergo a structured journey known as the 5 I’s: Interview, Introduction, Inception, Incubation, and Induction. Beyond these formation stages, applicants are expected to actively live out the core values of the Order by completing three Community Service activities and attending three regular club meetings.

Each step is not merely a requirement, but a preparation—shaping future Kuya who is ready to serve with integrity, compassion, and a genuine heart for the community.

GSEC HOLDS YEAR-END GENERAL MONTHLY MEETING, STRENGTHENS FRATERNAL BROTHERHOOD AND LEADERSHIP

The Golden Surigao Eagles Club (GSEC) successfully held its year-end General Monthly Meeting (GMM) on December 30, 2025, in Karihatag, Malimono, Surigao del Norte. The activity gathered all Kuya Members of the club and served as a significant occasion to celebrate brotherhood, leadership transition, and organizational growth within the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles).

The meeting was hosted and sponsored by the newly inducted Kuya Members—Kuya Ali, Kuya Norman, Kuya Reynaldo, Kuya Bermar Angelo, and Kuya Marciano—reflecting their commitment to shared responsibility and active participation in fraternal service.

Honoring the event were esteemed Kuya and Ate delegates from the Budjong Butuan Eagles Club (BBEC), under the Butuan Eagles District of the Northeastern Mindanao Eagles Region (CARAGA). The delegation was led by Eagle Jerry De Guzman, District Governor, and Eagle Teodoro “Ted” Montes, Regional Governor, whose presence reinforced regional unity and strengthened inter-club camaraderie.

One of the highlights of the GMM was the oathtaking of the newly elected GSEC Officers for Eagle Year 2026, officially ushering in a new leadership cycle under the presidency of Eagle Septeriano Senoc Jr., GSEC Club President for Eagle Year 2026. The ceremony affirmed the club’s readiness to pursue its goals anchored on service, discipline, and brotherhood.

The gathering also witnessed the oathtaking of Kuya Eulogio Ferol III as the new Vice Governor of the Butuan Eagles District, marking a notable milestone for both the district and the GSEC, as it continues to produce leaders entrusted with higher responsibilities within the Order.

Another significant feature of the meeting was the conduct of interview and formal introduction of three (3) new applicants, facilitated by Eagle Allan Joville, BBEC Club President for Eagle Year 2026 and Chairman of the Regional Club Membership Committee. This process ensured adherence to the standards and values of the Fraternal Order, underscoring the importance of integrity and readiness in welcoming new members.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) is a socio-civic organization founded on the core principles of Service, Unity, and Brotherhood, committed to nation-building through humanitarian initiatives, leadership development, and community engagement. Activities such as the GMM serve as vital platforms for strengthening bonds, sustaining organizational discipline, and advancing the mission of the Order.

The year-end GMM of the Golden Surigao Eagles Club stood not only as a culmination of Eagle Year 2025 but also as a strong declaration of unity and purpose as the club moves forward into Eagle Year 2026, steadfast in its commitment to fraternal service and excellence.

𝑺𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒏, 𝑺𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒆 — With its enduring commitment to nation-building and community service, the Golden Surigao 𝓔𝓪𝓰𝓵𝓮𝓼 Club (GSEC) reached another milestone in its mission of service through the donation of a new school barricade to Sison Elementary School SPED Center, in partnership with the school officials and stakeholders.

The donation ceremony was held on August 8, 2025, in the presence of the GSEC members, school faculty, PTA representatives, and learners. The event was a testament to the Club’s advocacy of strengthening educational institutions by providing safer and more conducive learning environments.

Sison Elementary School Principal IV, Mrs. Mercedita Albiño, warmly welcomed the GSEC members and expressed her gratitude: “Dako kaayo among pasalamat sa inyong grupo. Ang barricade nga inyong gihatag dili lamang pisikal nga proteksyon, kundi simbolo sa inyong pagtagad sa edukasyon ug kaluwasan sa among mga estudyante. Kini usa ka dakong tabang alang sa among eskwelahan ug komunidad.”

The purpose of the activity was succinctly captured by GSEC Secretary, 𝓔𝓪𝓰𝓵𝓮 Septeriano B. Senoc Jr., in his statement of purpose: “GSEC stands for Giving back to the Community, Securing the future of learners, Empowering the school as hub of learning, and Commitment to service and excellence. This initiative is part of our continuous efforts to support educational institutions and promote safe learning spaces. We believe that simple gestures like this can create ripples of impact in the lives of our young learners.”

GSEC Club President, 𝓔𝓪𝓰𝓵𝓮 John Jestoni Besas, emphasized the club’s vision and the importance of community collaboration: "This is more than just a donation—it is a shared responsibility. As members of the Golden Surigao 𝓔𝓪𝓰𝓵𝓮𝓼 Club, we commit ourselves to meaningful service. We hope that this barricade serves as a reminder that there are people and organizations ready to support the dreams of the youth."

The activity concluded with a short fellowship and photo opportunity, marking yet another meaningful contribution of GSEC to the academic communities of Surigao del Norte. #

𝑩𝒓𝒈𝒚. 𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒊, 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒐, 𝑺𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒆 — The Golden Surigao 𝓔𝓪𝓰𝓵𝓮𝓼 Club (GSEC) successfully carried out a community service initiative on Sunday morning, donating construction materials to the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) Pili Parish Church.

Held at the central church grounds, the outreach was graced by the presence of Revd Donard Paculi, parish rector, and members of the congregation, alongside officers and members of GSEC.

This act of service was in line with GSEC’s commitment to civic responsibility and spiritual solidarity, strengthening the bond between the organization and local faith-based communities. The initiative was made possible through the generous support of 𝓔𝓪𝓰𝓵𝓮 Wilven Masalta and family, who are also active members of the said church.

“This effort embodies our club’s mission—to serve and uplift communities through meaningful action. The donated materials will aid the ongoing improvement of the church building, ensuring a more conducive place of worship for the faithful in the parish," Kuya Wil said.

The community service is part of GSEC’s broader mission of fostering compassion, unity, and empowerment among its members and the communities they serve. #
