We are happy to share another research milestone from the Institute of Professional and Graduate Studies (IPGS) of SPAMAST.
A research paper titled “Exploring the Relationship between Mathematics Motivation and Performance among Junior High School Students” has been officially published in the Asian Journal of Education and Social Studies (Volume 51, Issue 12). The study was authored by Glemae R. Ramos, a MAEd–Mathematics Teaching student of IPGS, together with faculty members Dr. Carlito B. Balandra and Dr. Aldwin T. Miranda.
The study examined how students’ motivation in mathematics relates to their academic performance and found that motivated learners tend to perform better in the subject. The findings offer useful insights for teachers and school leaders in designing student-centered and motivating learning strategies.
