A team of Thomasian students was named among the Top 10 Finalists of the 2026 ASEAN Philippines’ National Innovation Day for developing a mobile app to aid farmers.
The trio was formed by UST College of Commerce and Business Administration (CCBA) senior Naj Naumi R. Fernando, together with UST College of Information and Computing Sciences (CICS) junior Jerome N. Ancheta, and sophomore Dwayne Marc L. Peña.
They were guided by their mentors Asst. Prof. Antonio E. Etrata Jr., PhD, Program Chair of the College of Commerce and Business Administration - Department of Marketing Management; Asst. Prof. Celso Noel Aban, MEntrep, Manager of the TOMASInno Center - University of Santo Tomas (TIC); and Prof. Michael Francis D. Benjamin, PhD, Asst. Manager of the same center and academic staff of the Department of Chemical Engineering.
