𝓘𝓷 𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓸𝓻𝔂 𝓸𝓯 𝓪 𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓸𝓻’𝓼 𝓵𝓮𝓰𝓪𝓬𝔂

With deep sorrow, the Mechanical Engineering Department bids farewell to the dearly esteemed Associate Professor, Engr. Eduael G. Usal, who passed away on November 17. His legacy encompasses serving as the Technical Expert/Associate Professor in the PUP-Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) and as the former Mechanical Engineering Chairperson during the terms of 1991-1993 and 1998-2001. It was under his leadership that the PUP Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers, Student Unit, found its inception during his term as the Chairperson.

Engr. Usal's influence extended beyond the mastery of his subject matter. His valuable teachings encompassed moral values, and he consistently emphasized the importance of discipline in the lives of his students. His dedication to instilling these principles in the pursuit of success will be a lasting part of his legacy.

In this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to his family, friends, and loved ones.

May the soul of Engr. Eduael G. Usal find eternal peace. His enduring impact on our community ensures that he will be remembered with utmost respect and gratitude.

We are pleased to announce the upcoming 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, a crucial step for those seeking to join the esteemed College of Engineering at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. This examination is specifically intended for 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗲, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 who aspire to pursue engineering studies with us.
