OPEN POSITION: AI Program Manager

💼 Key Responsibilities:

Voice AI Integration & Optimization
• API Integration: Coordinate and oversee the integration of Deepgram APIs into internal systems (CRM, Contact Center, LMS, and custom platforms).
• Processing Pipelines: Manage real-time streaming and batch transcription processes to ensure low-latency, high-accuracy voice data handling.
• Model Tuning: Collaborate with technical teams to fine-tune AI models and implement custom vocabularies for industry-specific accuracy.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on transcription accuracy, latency, uptime, and system reliability to ensure consistent performance.

Project & Program Management
• Roadmap Ownership: Define project goals, deliverables, and timelines for AI voice initiatives.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams — engineering, product, data, and operations — to align AI deployments with business priorities.
• Documentation & Training: Maintain clear project documentation and provide training or onboarding sessions for internal users on integrated systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance automation, data quality, and reporting efficiency through voice AI capabilities.

Troubleshooting & Reporting
• Issue Management: Lead resolution of integration or performance issues with internal teams and API providers.
• Analytics & Insights: Generate reports showing ROI, cost savings, and business outcomes tied to AI implementations.

💡Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 3+ years of professional software development or technical integration experience.
• API Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience integrating and working extensively with the Deepgram API, including familiarity with its core features and best practices for audio submission.
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language commonly used for backend services (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go, or Java).
• Audio/Voice Data: Understanding of audio formats, streaming protocols (e.g., WebSockets, SIP), and challenges associated with voice data.
• Cloud/DevOps: Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for application deployment and scaling.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The Alumni Relations and Career Development Office (ARCDO) and Cebuana Lhuillier Inc. which is an active partner industry of PUP, successfully held the Prepi Bootcamp for Information Technology and Computer Engineering students. This was held in Antipolo, Rizal, at the Cebuana Lhuillier Academy on September 24-25, 2026.
The students learned a lot from speakers provided by Cebuana L. Topics ranged from Growing with AI, Cyber Threats, Real Talk on Technology, Effective Work Challenges, Crafting a Professional Image, and so on.
They also had fun during the socials night with all the activities prepared by Cebuana Lhuillier Academy officials. On the second day of the bootcamp, there was an academy tour for the participants to be familiarized with the compound of the academy and its various services and rich history.
Congratulations to all the participants and our sincerest thanks again to Cebuana L. for this fruitful activity! Kudos PUPians!

The GIA Summit 2026 is now on its 4th year! The Alumni Relations and Career Development Office (ARCDO) is conducting it on October 7-8, 2026 at the Bulwagang Balagtas, NALLRC.
This is the 4th year that we are holding this event. This aims to facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among the three sectors to address societal challenges, spur innovation, and drive economic growth. The summit serves as a platform for key stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop actionable strategies that leverage each sector's strengths toward achieving shared goals. With representatives from government, academia, and industry coming together to exchange ideas and best practices, the summit provides a unique opportunity for cross-sectoral dialogues and partnership building.
