During the 3rd International Research Fair held on March 5–7, 2026 at St. Paul University Dumaguete, and endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the presentations embodied the spirit of the theme “Revolutionizing AI Research and Innovation through Cutting-Edge Technology.”

Presenters Rene P. Dasig, Serdan M. Devero Jr., and Dennis R. Chiu shared meaningful studies exploring salability, profitability, and sustainability of enterprises, employee engagement, and the lived experiences of detainees in Negros Oriental.

Through a philosophical, phenomenological, and practical lens, these works remind us that behind every innovation and technological advancement are human stories, struggles, and aspirations—making research not only intelligent, but deeply human-centered and transformative. ✨📚🤖

University Research, Innovation, and Development- Review 2026
February 18-19, 2026

“Research teaches us to become who we are, that we are not.”

Research is not just about finding answers—it’s about transforming ourselves through the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. It reveals parts of us we never knew existed, challenges our assumptions, and opens up new pathways of thinking. In the process, we learn more about the world and about ourselves, discovering potential and perspectives we never imagined.

Through research, we become better versions of ourselves, not by seeking perfection, but by embracing the uncertainty, the questions, and the continuous process of discovery. It’s the willingness to challenge what we think we know that shapes us into who we are meant to be.
