Kicking off ICT Week 2026 with energy, purpose, and unity!๐Ÿ’ป

Last April 27, 2026, the College of Computer Studies officially opened ICT Week 2026, guided by this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œThe Role of ICT in the Philippinesโ€™ Quest for Sustainability.โ€

The opening program set the tone for a week filled with learning, collaboration, and forward thinking among CCS students and faculty.

The celebration was then followed by the Amazing Race, featuring fun and engaging community games that showcased teamwork, creativity, and sportsmanship among participants.

Preparing for the future of innovation and research!๐Ÿ’ป

Last April 21, 2026, the 3rd year students of the College of Computer Studies actively participated in the seminar-workshop titled โ€œSystems Analysis and Design: Introduction to Research Methods in Computing,โ€ designed to strengthen their foundation as they prepare for their capstone and thesis projects.

The session was led by Dr. Roseclaremath A. Caroro, Dean of the College of Computer Studies, who provided an in depth discussion and hands on guidance on research methods in computing, systems analysis, and project development. Students were guided through key concepts and practical approaches in designing solutions for real world problems.

This seminar workshop served as an important step in preparing students for the planning and development of their capstone and thesis projects.

Empowering minds through financial knowledge!๐Ÿ’ก

Last April 20, 2026, the College of Computer Studies successfully held a Financial Literacy Seminar as part of the ICT Week celebration, with all CCS students actively participating. The session was led by Dr. Renzitelo Alf P. Carpio, Dean of the College of Business and Management, who shared valuable insights on smart money management, saving strategies, budgeting, and financial planning, essential skills for building a secure future.

The seminar encouraged students to become more mindful of their financial decisions and to develop responsible habits that will benefit them both personally and professionally.

Thank you, CCS students, for your full participation and enthusiasm.
