On September 26, 2026. the 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗙𝗧𝗟𝗘) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 has accomplished their 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, hosted by the Philippine Association of Food Technologists, Inc., at SMX Convention Center, Manila. This ceremony gathered newly licensed professionals and experts in the field to celebrate the success of the recently concluded licensure examination last August. The ceremony was also attended by the 𝗣𝗨𝗣 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗩. 𝗔𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘇, 𝗗𝗣𝗔𝗠, 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗘𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗖. 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗗𝗕𝗔, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗣𝗙𝗧, and Department of Food Technology 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗘𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗟. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿, 𝗠𝗦𝗙𝗦, 𝗣𝗙𝗧, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗕. 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲, 𝗠𝗦𝗙𝗦, 𝗣𝗙𝗧, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗜. 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮, 𝗠𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁, 𝗣𝗚𝗖𝗵𝗘, 𝗥𝗖𝗵𝗘, 𝗣𝗙𝗧.

Among the oath takers were the proud 𝟰𝟰 𝗣𝗨𝗣 𝗙𝗧 𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 who once again brought pride to the university with an excellent performance, achieving an impressive passing rate of 𝟴𝟯.𝟬𝟮% 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟱). This marks the 4th straight licensure examination where the 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 – 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 (𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀) has registered an increasing passing rate, reflecting the continuous perseverance and commitment of the graduates and its faculty members in upholding excellence and producing competent and highly qualified Food Technologists.

As another batch of professional food technologists steps into the professional world, may this milestone serve as a reminder of their hard work and patience in achieving greater things for a better cause. To our new PFTs, may your oath today mark not only the beginning of your professional journey, but also a renewed commitment to serve, contribute, and create an impact in the field of Food Science and Technology. 🌾
