MONDAY FLAG RAISING CEREMONY Pinangunahan ng City Accounting Office ang regular na flag raising ceremony ngayong ikalimang Lunes ng Marso 30, 2026, sa Atrium ng New Tayabas City Hall.

Pinangunahan ni Mayor Piwa Lim ang mga opisyal at kawani ng pamahalaang lokal at nasyunal kabilang sina Vice Mayor Rosauro Dalida, City Administrator Atty. Voltaire Dela Cruz, Konsehal Ana Obispo, Konsehal Jerry Talaga, Konsehal Elsa Rubio, Konsehal Luz Cuadra, Konsehal Riza Llaneta at PKB President Conrado Aragon.

Sa ikalawang bahagi ng programa, binigyang pagkilala ang walong (8) Model Public Service Providers para sa buwan ng Pebrero 2026 dahil sa kanilang dedikasyon at mahusay na paglilingkod sa publiko.

Kinilala rin ang mga mag-aaral ng Colegio de la Ciudad de Tayabas para sa kanilang mahalagang kontribusyon sa pagbuo ng Business Permit Management System na inaasahang makatutulong sa pagpapabilis ng mga transaksyon sa Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO). Pinarangalan sina Jhen Cabiling, Ricky Rivadenera, at Jonel Oabel na naging katuwang sa nasabing proyekto.

Samantala, nagsagawa naman ang Gender and Development (GAD) Section ng ceremonial awarding ng sertipiko ng pagkilala sa mga nagwagi sa iba’t ibang patimpalak kaugnay ng pagdiriwang ng Women’s Month. Nag-raffle din ng limang (5) kilong bigas para sa dalwampung (20) women employees ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Sa pangwakas na pananalita ng alkalde ay nagpasalamat si Mayor Piwa Lim sa Colegio de la Ciudad de Tayabas at sa mga mag-aaral nito sa kanilang ambag na makatutulong sa pagpapabuti at pagpapabilis ng serbisyo ng lungsod, partikular sa BPLO. Binati rin niya ang lahat ng nagwagi sa mga patimpalak at muling pinaalalahanan ang mga kawani ng pamahalaan na patuloy na maghatid ng magalang, maayos, at may ngiting serbisyo para sa bawat Tayabasin.

Last March 18 and 23, 2026, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝑪𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒂 𝑮. 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒔, the BSCS Program Chairperson, and the BSCS Practicum Coordinator successfully conducted OJT monitoring visits across various Host Training Establishments (HTEs). These sessions, held both on-site and via virtual platforms, ensured a comprehensive evaluation of our trainees' progress while strengthening our collaborative ties with industry partners.

These visits are a vital part of our commitment to:
✅ SDG 4: Quality Education – Ensuring our students gain relevant, high-level skills.
✅ SDG 8: Decent Work & Economic Growth – Bridging the gap between education and the professional labor market.
