The State University of Northern Negros (SUNN) continues to make its mark on the regional stage with another outstanding achievement at the 2026 ASEAN Celebration in the Negros Island Region.
Bringing pride to the university, Genevelle Aisha Wong, a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management student, earned second place in the ASEAN Food Trails: Culinary Tour Guiding Challenge, showcasing exceptional talent, professionalism, and passion for tourism.
Adding to the university's remarkable participation, SUNN's Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management students demonstrated their culinary creativity and innovation in the ASEAN Dip and Sauce Challenge, reflecting the high standards of excellence nurtured within the institution.
This success would not have been possible without the commitment and guidance of our dedicated coaches and mentors: Prof. Roy Bulahan, Prof. Joy Dalida, Dr. Nince Mate, and Dr. Elyn Mae Alcantara. Their expertise, unwavering support, and tireless mentorship have played an invaluable role in preparing our students to compete with confidence, professionalism, and excellence.
Congratulations to our exceptional students, esteemed coaches, and the entire SUNN family for this well-deserved achievement. Together, we continue to raise the banner of the State University of Northern Negros, proving that through collaboration, innovation, and excellence, we can thrive beyond borders and contribute meaningfully to the ASEAN community.
